Guest guest
Hello to you all I joined the list today, after taking a look at the website. (Thank you John) Thank you all for participating with something so personal and such a sensitive topic. I appreciate that this list is here for me when I need it. Its impossible to guess when it all began - but the pinacle of my experience was about 15 years ago. Since then its been an uphill climb to integrating awareness into daily life. What I knew 15 years ago is that something, 'god' (I was an athiest) zapped me - and my crown chakra became a blaze. I felt that everyone could see this huge halo around my head. I cried for three days straight. I had visions, voices, direct communication to something that I had no answers for. It was glorious, painful, disorientating and incredibly difficult to move back into practical daily life. I found my way, learning about qigong, a couple of different forms of yoga, though I must admit I have been reluctant to 'name' the experience. It seems that the more research I do, the more I hear the words kundalini. I joined this group because about a month ago I was given a 'tail' in my meditation. I was confused, but google being our friend, told me of Tibetan naga's and of typical images in many cultures of half human, half snake like creatures. Our own traditional landowners of Australia talk of the rainbow serpent - so similar to the traditional nagas of the ancient shamans of Tibet. I saw that my patroness, the green tara, was adorned with snakes, something I had somehow not noticed before, we've had seven snakes in the house since I've been here, and I dream of snakes more and more. Two nights ago it was a decapitated snake in our living room, and when I felt such compassion, I saw its stomach move, and suddenly hundreds of babies came out - I opened the door and let them out. It goes on, and on. The snake references. So, here I am. Thanks to your existence, and happy reading to me. (Two days ago I joined a different list, and I was refered to this list also. I have copied the above text from my original greeting to the other group - no point in rewriting - so excuse me if you are also joined to both groups) Go in light,-- Tiffany JonesPatheya
Guest guest
Hi Tiffany - great to see you join this Group. There are many postings (about 420 so far if you run a search) on the subject of snakes and other forms of " loveable " wild-life entering dreams to foreshadow a quickening kundalini uptake. Interesting times ahead for you !! Love - John. ======================== Tiffany wrote: " Hello to you all I joined the list today, after taking a look at the website ....... we've had seven snakes in the house since I've been here, and I dream of snakes more and more. Guest guest
Hi John, You're making me feel very welcome. Thank you for that. The more I read, the more I feel that this was the right move for me. Its difficult to be 'different' - as you know. I'll begin exploring very soon. Love T Ps - I just press the 'reply' button and I see it only goes to you. This is a good thing. However, if I press the 'reply' button, am I expected to delete the previous messages to reduce memory usage? I didn't quite understand the 'snippet' information. thanks.... 2008/11/30 <...> Hi Tiffany - great to see you join this Group. Guest guest
Hi Sky dancer Thank you for your greeting. I'm glad I found you too. I haven't been ready to be part of a group - I've always been so afraid of groups since I felt vulnerable to negative energy. But since I developed my root chakra - things are really different for me. I'm so happy that there is a group with so many compassionate and helpful people. It really helps to make you feel 'sane' when you are going through crazy times. In one hand I hold discipline and in the other trust. If you like bible quotes, anyone - I like this one very much - to gain strength. A friend sent it to me, and the timing was just right - because I'd felt my spine seered with hot light and felt as though a sword of the lightest blue had been placed there. When I'd read this quotation - it made sense to me. (I am not a Christian as such - but open to all faiths and all representations of the divine) Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: I admit - I make my own version of the above - but I use it as a protection prayer. love to you all 2008/12/2 Skydancer <ionaskydancer Hi Tiffany,Sorry about my late hello but I've had flu. welcome to the group and I'm glad you found us.
