Guest guest
I would agree with here. As many may know I am a Wican 3rd degree HP's and have been involved with the Occult, Reiki and many other systems over the past 35yrs. I am very adept at these practices but have put them all to one side while I concentrate on the raising of my Kundalini and all that it involves. I took part in a Kundalini healing conference some months ago and had a bad physical reaction while taking part. The reason for this was because I was using my learned methods of long distance Reiki healing while using the Kundalini energies. I can attest that the two methods are not compatible! If you are a Reiki healer, spiritual healer or use another healing modality, think deeply about what you really want. If you are a member of an occult or New Age group please read up on the differences between that and Kundalini as they may not work together and you may do yourself and others physical and mental harm. I have many friends in the Golden Dawn and they have methods of awakening the Kundalini in order to reach the higher grades in their Order. They do not follow the safeties as listed in this group and although some of them succeed in K. awakening it has come with many physical and mental problems related to the ego which is not suppressed or controlled in their system. I am not saying one system is better than the other or brings a person to enlightenment quicker than the other - its a question of choice and sticking to one system only. Guest guest
Hi Skydancer, I'm glad you are back and feeling better. In my searching, I too had "dabbled" in the occult with Ouija, tarot, and readings from two of my Wicca friends. Many of these were accurate, but more often than not, left me with a strange uncomfortable feeling, not what I was truly seeking. After laying these things down, I had a brief thought just yesterday of picking up some of my Louisiana Voodoo, just for fun. I immediately dropped the thought; but last night my dreams reprimanded me. I dreamed I worked in a hotel (which I do in reality) but was summoned to take a room service order up the elevator. And on the silver tray was a bottle of tequila, a cigar, and a LIVE ROOSTER. No more thoughts of the past for me..............I've been warned!!!!!! Pre-Scatterfield????? Guest guest
Hi Julie and Skydancer. I messed with the Ouija board when I was about 19 or so with another friend who was equally entranced by it. It was fun at first but when it predicted my husband would die young (this was before I had even started dating the one who would become my first husband) it freaked me out. And when we put the board on top of a bible and it went nuts flinging the pointer off everytime we did it, we got rid of it and never looked back. I won't touch one to this day. As thrilling as some of it was, it DID leave me with a heavy negative feeling and I'm sure entities were involved that I felt around me some of the time, influencing my thoughts. Nasty stuff. I still do tarot some and use dowsing rods (just learning) and a pendulum. All these are just occasionally. I don't rely on them because they drain me in some way. Best to find your own intuition, I've found. Great reading your experiences! Much love out to all, Valarie
Guest guest
Actually, when I was about 10 my friends and I started playing with the Ouija board. I think it is poor that Ouija boards are sold in the toy department and marketed as a party game. I had no idea what I was getting into. When I was 12 or 13, my friends and I were dabbling with this when two of us saw a man in my mirror. Then a picture fell off the wall. That was the last time I touched one of those! If someone else hadn't witnessed it with me I would have thought I was crazy. This is what I love so much about the approach to the Kundalini and to healing here. There are no specials tools, we ARE the tools! It all comes from within, no need to look outside of ourselves. I am very comfortable with this.
