Guest guest
I know we've talked about this before but I wanted to share today's experience. I sang in a Christmas concert (in a choir) along with a wind orchestra. When the orchestra had some insturmental pieces to do, the choir members stood in the back to listen in. As I stood just inside a hallway, around the corner stood a Native American couple with their small boy. He was about 8 months old, I'd guess. He peered around the corner and saw me and his face just lit up! I wasn't the only one standing there but his eyes never left me. He strained and pulled at the corner to look at me better and just grinned, waved. His parents would turn him forward to look at the concert but he'd strain around and look at me again. This went on for a bit, the parents turned and looked back to see what he was looking at but didn't see anything of interest so turned back to the music. He was really sweet. I tried not to encourage him, just waved once. But it kept going on. Then there was a break and people flowed out into the lobby for refreshments. Again I saw the little boy sitting on a sofa with his parents. I was a good 20 ft. away with other people around me. He saw me and again he strained toward me, wiggling, reaching out to me, smiling his big toothless grin. It felt a bit strange, I have to say, after the first minute or so. But I silently thanked him. He validated what others have said about the very young being able to see our energy or K. I'm pretty amazed and hopefully not being too arrogant in saying this. Also there were lots of elderly in the audience as this was a feee concert and there were several shuttles full of seniors from nursing homes and assisted living that were brought for a festive day out. I got many of them looking right into my eyes. I don't think they saw what the baby saw but I think they felt something there and I gave them all a big smile and asked Shakti to touch them, in whatever thing they needed let them be blessed. It was a good day. Love and hugs, Valarie
Guest guest
Thanks for sharing this story Valerie. Kids can definitely sense our energy and that there is something "unusual" about us. I work with children and they are usually beaming, staring, waving as well has hugging and touching me all the time. Kid energy is just lovely and they are usually a real joy to be around! Really great parents have a wonderful energy too.
