Guest guest
Namaste everyone I have a few questions as I just launched my safety program. 1.3 Day cleansing fast I want to do the starting 3 day cleansing fast. I will plan it in the next 2 -3 weeks. Can I still take my medication during this period? (I take a thyroid pill every morning). 2. Regarding the 5Ts (Tibetians), I am quite active physically (I work out at the gym 3-4 days a week - cardio and weights- I have started the 5Ts off slowly (5 reps) before breakfast. Can I, if I feel up to it, do a second round in the evening (as long as the total # of reps don't go over 21 per day)? Warm regards Krish P.S My full name is Krish Dharma
Guest guest
Greetings Krish, 1) If you are on any prescribed medication DO NOT start the fast without speaking to the doctor who prescribed your medication. Chrism always states this and all here would agree with him. 2) Yes, it is a good idea for all of us (if medically/physically able or told otherwise by Chrism), to do 21 repeats of the Tibetans. I would advise against the gym for the week of Shaktipat - 21st-28th Dec. It will do nothing to help the Shaktipat experience but it may harm in unknown ways. I hope that helps. Guest guest
Krish - you can do 21 repetitions of the tibetans twice/day - except during shaktipat where you follow the instructions for each day. Movement is helpful it keeps the energy flowing and helps with blockages. You are doing well - how exciting!! I feel your excitement - enjoy your journey ... e
Guest guest
Dear Kris, I am moved to ask you to only listen to advice from Chrism. If he is not available, listen to your body and your k. It will guide you. you will get several opinions from the group, all meaning well. I do take a thyroid medication, as mine was removed at 19, and i'm a bit older now. When I asked my physician if I "needed" to take the pill, his response was, "the only woman i knew who didn't ended up in jail in six weeks". Today I would not ask my physician. I would listen to my body. But my advice is to keep doing what you are doing until responds. This is an important time, lots of changes, physically, mentally, spiritually, and emotionally. and that' s my ADVICE (lol) imho xxoo Julie--- On Fri, 12/12/08, scorpio92600 <scorpio92600 wrote: scorpio92600 <scorpio92600 Starter Question Date: Friday, December 12, 2008, 10:56 AM Namaste everyoneI have a few questions as I just launched my safety program.1.3 Day cleansing fastI want to do the starting 3 day cleansing fast. Guest guest
You should do the 5 tibetans 21 reps per time and you can do once or twice a day if you feel like it.You only need to build up slowly if you are not fit or used to excercise.Much loveelektra x x x
