Dear All,

My pulse goes down to 48 to 52 beats/min and my breathing becomes deep and slow,by itself.

I haven't been doing yoga, pranayama and meditation for a month.I had to stop all of them as I started having terrible dizziness and weightlessness.

I visited my GP.I did complete health check-up,Brain scanning and EEG.Reports are all normal except my heart rate started decreasing.Doctors says it's all because of Yoga and heart rate tends to decrease for yoga teachers.

Is it normal?

Namaste,

Rozeena

Hi Rozeena,

Yes your heart beats are normal for someone undertaking Yoga or

Meditation. I started meditation to help lover my blood pressure and

pulse and mine, like yours is 48-52 per min. In fact it goes lower

when I am in meditation and my breathing slows down greatly as well.

Just be careful not to get up quickly from your exercises or

meditation as this will make you feel dizzy.

Dear,

It's nice to be in this state.

Sometimes, I become too light and it's difficult to work.

Few times,I had to cancel official meetings.

I had done yoga n meditation for 7.8 years.Recently,I stopped.I am unable to do Pranayama also.

These lightness, dizziness and unusual breathing-slow and deep, may be the outcome of yoga.

Offlate,in my conscious state(when I am not sleeping/meditating),I started observing my thought process.Something tells me what I need to do and what I need to avoid.

My body rhythm starts changing everyday at dusk and it continues till 8:00pm.

Does it happen to you or anyone in the group?

Pls let me know. Regards,Rozeena Sharma.
