Guest guest
Hi everyone, I would like to share with you the experiences I had up until now from the shaktipat. I have to say that every time I started to meditate I connected myself with Chris and other people I care of just by thinking of them. Also I showed my gratitude towards Chris and thanked him for the unconditional love he shares with us. One problem reoccuring every day is that I can't maintain the meditative state for longer than 10 minutes. I am completely relaxed and thoughtless in the head, but don't know how to continue this state. The thought 'what next' then occurs in my mind and draws me back to the normal awaken state. The chakra breathing exercises gives me simple but very short visualizations of spinning chakra's and the energy flow within and passing through it. I have made a compact log of my experiences; The days with the shatter field placed. After breathing exercises my head felt like an empty room. I could hear the echoing of the silence in the room. Then there were 3 persons discussing something. I heard it but didn't follow the conversation. One voice I did recognize was the voice of my eldest brother, Anand. Exercise with Chakra Dhyanam; I can feel the energy flow. Concentrating on the chakra's give me sensations on the fly, I can feel the exacts positions of the chakra's. The energy flow is extremely cold. 1st day Crown chakra is tinneling. The chakra's are very easy to access. Just by thinking of it I can feel the location of the chakra and the cold energy flow. 2nd day Same as the first day. But today the my head felt like a complete open space, it was accessible for anything, open and free. I started to feel tinneling sensations on and in my head. So I started to focus on the complete head. Sensations that I felt before with Vipasana meditation, started to cover my head and face. So I continued to focus on the rest of the body. I could feel the sensations everywhere now, like my body opened itself... cold sensations on every spot on the body. Like the wind is passing through my body. 3rd day Started with cold sensation on the solar plexus (on the back). Writing this give me cold sensations in my lower back, between the 2nd and 3rd chakra. Just by focusing on them I can feel the cold energy flow again. With gratitude to you all, Hemraj
Guest guest
HII HEMRAJ That’s a fantastic sharing you have about the shaktipat you are having great going…. About u maintaining the silence while meditation. Do not try to stop thinking or thoughts flowing….. do not force not to think…. Since it is a part of mind to do it. You can never stop it….. but u must get detached from the thoughts. Thoughts come and go but do not get attached to them and follow them. Learn to separate yourself from the thoughts and observe them…. Don’t try to think or don’t try not to think also…. You must just be there at the time of meditation and just be there J_ Regards Prasad
Guest guest
Namaste Prasad, Thanks for your reply. I have heard en read it many times before. The problem with me is that when I'm letting everything go... I fall almost asleep, or that's how it looks like at that moment. But I'll try to continue and let everything pass by. Guest guest
Hi hemraj… That’s great…. One more thing is that when u are in meditation do not expect that something will happen.. do not expect that u will be still or u wont fall asleep… just be there… To aid this I started with chanting a mantra .. like Om namaha shivaya…. So I just stick to this mantra and don’t bother about anything else….. its like all I do is just chant this and nothing else…. This is a way I started my meditation and its also not the only way. Thoughts come and go and also as u say we may feel we are asleep….it may not matter….. to be in meditation is to become the observer…and just be still or just BE. Guest guest
Namaste Prasad, Yep, also heard that before. It's true, some time things happen while in meditation and than I expect it to happen it again. But it won't... I've meditated before with mantra's, but somehow it occured to me that meditating in silence would be better than that. With mantra japa I'm to focused on the mantra's, believing that it's not meditating what I'm doing. So I drew a line between them. I'll try to use mantra's again, this time at a slower pace. Maybe that will help. And I'll focus on the observer part. That's sounds cool. RadheShyaam, Hemraj 2008/12/23 <nagendra.prasad Hi hemraj… That's great….
