Hello, I am new here and looking for guidance and answers to a lot questions so

I am

hoping some of you can help me on my journey. My name is Christine; I think I

have been

on a spirtual journey that has now leaded me to Kundalini for a long time. I

was raise

Catholic but in my early 20's realize that I felt no connection to any one

religion nor did I

believe any religion was the answer. I knew as a child that God was all around

me and

within me and I didn't need a religion to tell me that. I started meditating

and have had

small energy experiences but nothing dramatic. I feel like have been on the

verge for a

long time but nothing has happened. So here I am reaching out for help on this

journey. I

was hoping some one could help me understand one of my first experiences.

As a child around age 6 and then again around age 8, I had two spontaneous out

of body

experiences. I was fully awake and actually interacting with others at the time

of the

experience of course I was very afraid and did not understand what was

happening. The

first time at about age 6, I was at a family gathering at my uncles I was

drawing in

coloring books with several of my cousins as the adults were gathered in another

room.

All of a sudden I could I was looking down on myself from the ceiling I was

floating above.

I ran to the to my mother in the other room and tried to explain that I could

see my back

and I was floating but I was dismissed and told go and play with the other

children.

When I was in my early teens I saw " Out on a Limb " and finally understood what

had

happened but had no clue why it did??? As an adult I have meditated and tried

to have an

out of body but cannot.

Can some one help me understand what happen to me and why??? Has anyone else

experienced anything similar?

Hello and Welcome Jadenmeen1212,

Out of Body experiences are common

precursors to the Kundalini. More consistent then a mere few are

needed for it to trigger the Kundalini though. Your memories are true.

I also had Out of Body experiences when I was a child. These are real

and defined experiences of the consciousness not being confined to the

body as is commonly understood.

Going out of body is a good practice and allows one the experiences of

a wider grasp and understanding of the multiiverse. Welcome to our

group Jadenmoon1212! - blessings to you!- chrism

Chrism – Thank you for your reply. Is it unusal to have such and experience

when you are

fully awake and interacting with others. I could maybe understand if I was

laying down about

to sleep but was up walking and talking. And now as an adult when I meditate I

can not even

come close to what happen to me as a child.

Someone once told me this happen bc I was an unhappy soul that wanted to leave

this life.

Do you think this is true? I did have a bad childhood not horrible but not

great.

Thanks for the encouragement Jermy… I am somewhat discouraged by how VERY slow

things are moving for me. However I have to admit I am not very consistent is

my practice.

I am very distracted by every day life stuff work, school, family so meditation

come some

where at the bottom of the list.

Tell me where you are in your journey, what have you experienced? If you don't

mind

sharing, also any tips would be great.

For me, I can feel energy move when I mediate but it's very subtle. I also just

start hearing

a vibration but ever so soft… I often see visions but they don't mean much and

then I start

thinking about them and make them into something I want to happen so they become

more my thoughts and then I know they are not real anymore. If that makes

sense & #9786;

through my mediation and dreams I have seen many past lives but I don't know how

those

help me now. I have not been able to have an out of body since my experience as

a child

and if I had not had those I am not sure I would believe it is possible or more

so even what

to expect.

It is all an unusual event! Yes astral projection of a short distance

is not as common as going out when you sleep. But it isnt unheard of

either. When the Kundalini expands this symptom it can turn into a

form of conscious bilocation.

No this in no way infers an unhappy soul. Childhood is merely the

first rung of accomplishment and Karmic balancing we get to partake of

in many of our journeys. - blessings to you! - chrism

Hi Christine, I have some experience with astral projection. I have never had it happen when I was awakebut I did project a couple of times while falling asleep. From what I have read and understood,it is the easiest to project while falling asleep (such as in your bed or at your desk at work),

and what you explained it is more uncommon and harder to do. Also there are certain projections where you are more " clear " in your awareness when you are out of your body. Yourexperience was probably a lot of more clear because it takes more energy to project while

fully awake. If you want to learn to project intentionally, I would suggest starting with tryingto project while falling asleep and afterwards when you are proficient you can try whilemeditating awake. If you are interested, I can write what I did to project, but

different methods work for different people.Hope you find your answers.MikeOn Thu, Jan 1, 2009 at 9:21 AM, jadenmoon1212 <cbraun73 wrote:

Yes, I would love to hear how you project. One question is there ever any

problem coming

back and how do you come back. When this happened to me as child, I may have

been

daydreaming when it started but then I actually got up walked around and was

talking to

others and it still continued. . It probably lasted only a few minutes but I do

remember it

being very freighting bc I did not know how to stop it.

Hi Christine, You will never have the problem of coming back. All you have to do it jump your astral bodyinto your physical body. Astral plane is a plane where your thoughts come true so if you cant find your body

just wish for it. It is a little frightening for the first couple of times because you dont know what is going on,but afterward you automatically realize/remember that you are projecting and your fear should

go away. Speaking about being afraid I believe the method that I use has a higher fear element than others, since I project right after I have sleep paralysis. Sleep paralysis is basically when you open your eyes (wake up) but still cannot move your body. This

only lasts for 10-20 seconds or so, but for me it is the best time to project. At this stage, in the beggining, I would hallucinate very much, including very crazy/violent hallucinations. The other aspect ofsleep paralysis is that you feel a presence somewhere out of your sight but you feel it, just like you feel

someone watching your back but amplified more. This, according do Robert Bruce, is already yourastral body around you, so dont be afraid of it. Ok so here is how i did it. I want to underline that this is different person to person, since there

were many methods I came upon that many people used and worked for them but they did notwork for me. Check out Robert Bruce's books (Astral Dynamics)/webpage, he has done a huge amount of workin astral projection.

It was my first attempt at something metaphysical/spiritual. I started reading different methodsand papers on astral projection, including Robert Bruce's Astral Dynamics book. Going to sleep I would relax my body but in my mind I would picture/visualize myself running through a

jungle. First week I did this about 4 night and just fell asleep and nothing happened. During the secondor the third week, duing the same relaxing and running in the mind, I began to wake up during sleep paralysis

episodes. I would open my eyes, feel a presence around me and also see very crazy violent hallucinations. It will scare you to pieces the first time it happens. The more you are afraid the more the hallucinations will amplify.

Since these last only abou 20 seconds I would fall back sleep and then re-wake up fully. So after about 4-5 of these sleep paralysis episodes I finally managed to realize when I am having another one and all I would have to

tell myself is " This is a sleep paralysis. I am not afraid of you. " and laught a little and the hallunications wouldbe gone. I was at a point where I can go to sleep and wake up during a sleep paralysis and have no hallucinations

and be able to tell myself calmly and peacefully " Ok I am here to project " . Up to this point I did not feel any of the astral projection symptoms such as vibrations/noises. Then during the the calm and peaceful sleep paralysis I tried many of the methods which I reasearched from the internet. Closing your eyes and pulling your arms up and pulling on an imaginary chord hanging from the ceiling or tryin to roll to one side of the bed etc etc. Google for astral projection methods and you will get a big list. Doing these I did sense a little vibrations and noises, like airplanes/explosions but with no result. Just as a side note, which ever method you use you really have to put effort and determination into it. So then I read somewhere of a method where you imagine a big " X " on the floor on the side of your bed. At this big " X " imagine a person sitting there. You dont have to visualize the details, just a rough outline. Now believe that he is you. In other words, transfer your conscience into that body. This was the method which worked for me. After imagining the moving of my conscience to that body I would open my eyes floating next to my bed. From there the whole multiverse is your to explore. :)

Also from my understanding you can perform all these projection methods while falling asleep regularly, not during sleep paralysis episodes. Let me know how it goes. Mike

No worries about coming back. Often the " instant " you feel fear you

are snapped back into the body. Your body is yours. Try not to buy

into any of the many fear scenarios offered on the internet. -

blessings to you and read Jinn's suggestions. - chrism
