Guest guest
Hi chrism – things of late have been fascinating in my court and I would appreciate your take on things if you have a moment to spare. I have (I now know and accept) unrealistically been expecting development to be accompanied by some form of phenomena by way of benchmarks or milestones. During the recent shaktipat I had the usual feelings of energy rushes, heat, and crawling feelings up one side of my back but that's not new and I realize that I was incorrectly expecting something different. At the same time my libido has been through the roof of late which has had me wondering if my second chakra was unbalanced (I am probably totally unhinged but what way to go! lol). That having been said I continue to marvel at the manner in which this progression occurs. With my ego-driven mind (I am trying and succeeding progressively at getting my ego into its correct place), I was missing the significant changes that have been occurring and they have, in my assessment, been significant. I have, I believe, been deliberately lead through some old patterns of behaviour recently, and during that period the voice in my head has been using this almost as a classroom type situation in pointing out the many negatives associated with that behaviour while also clarifying linkages in my mind as to where that will lead. Something of a hands on training session! At the same time that inner voice has been prompting me to more actively help others get on the `right track' which I have been responding to (accompanied by waves of inner emotion!). I also found myself repeatedly `pointed' in the direction of an ebook I picked up off the net titled `I am that' by Sri Maharaj which has reinforced and added some detail to that being provided by my inner voice. Accompanying all of this and the most significant aspect is `just knowing' (cant describe that more meaningfully but I know you will know where I am coming from). In essence my intuition appears to opening rapidly insofar as direction is constantly coming in (its like having an ongoing two-way discussion). I am also slightly more `sensitive' in actually seeing things but the change there is small. Within myself I feel that the internal changes are quite pronounced but they are devoid of anything like kriyas and some of the more pronounced and physically tangible changes that I see occurring with other in the group or that you have written about in your numerous articles. I also have this strong urge to find out more about my past lives – almost as though there are some as yet hidden keys there. Is this relevant? If so how best could I go about it? From your experience, knowledge and insight is it possible to progress significantly along this path without experiencing much by way of phenomena? I take it that by closely following the safeties the `side effects' can be minimized – is that what is happening in my case? Or is my mind leading me on to some extent? Digressing somewhat – the 6th Tibetan – I am familiar with the actual exercise and am not doing it – is it only done when celibate or are there circumstances where it can and should be introduced into daily practice while continuing with a normal loving and sexual relationship? Apologies for the volume! Yet again thanks for the guidance and input on every level! Love and blessings - Jonathan
Guest guest
(private e-mail response) This would be a good one to post on the group Jon. I know it has personal components and those can be edited but it is a place of interesting convergence for many I feel. This place of having changes but not the bombastic changes that are given to others. So if you are OK with giving this to the group in whatever edited format you are comfortable it would be welcomed. But do not feel as if you must or that any pressure is given. The voice is good and it is that of your inner Shakti that is giving you instruction. Past lives will be revealed to you in visions or dream experiences searching for them consciously unless your voice indicates otherwise isn't productive. Your sexual drive can be expressed. The libido can be very strong and this is all quite normal. Nothing wrong there in fact everything is quite " right " there and going as it should. The sixth Tibetan should be done only when seriously engaged and surrendering towards celibacy. The Kundalini in you understands the dynamics of your life Jon. It knows where you live and the dynamics of life where you live. It knows what you can have that will allow you a safe and sane experience within the dynamics that you live in. It may not see that you having uncontrolled Kriyas would be a good thing in your existence at this time. They may come later on in your experience when they can be given and received with less danger to you and your way of life.. This goes for any of the phenomena you feel you may be missing. You live in a place that is not as stable as other places and you must be given the ability to be agile inside of a changing social environment. So no you are not missing out on anything. Another aspect is the ease at which you have been experiencing your awakening can lead one into the area of you having been with the Kundalini at another time. This may also be the trigger for the past life reflections you may be wanting to have. Some people come already wired for the Kundalini and the gross changes do not need to occur. Though there are other changes that will most certainly come they may not land as heavily on the body as say a physical kriya would. So please consider this and run it past the voice and feel what is given in response. - blessings to you my friend! - chrism
Guest guest
I'm glad to hear someone else bring up past lives. Since being divorced I have developed four friendships with women that seem to have an unusual transparent connection. In mostly difficult or times of need we seem to be able to sense it and encourage each other. It is very interesting and believe opens us all up spiritually too. Weither regarding them or other aspects on my life, practically all my teachings or experiences happen in real time. I very rarely have dreams or visions. I do get a gut feeling or knowingness from within. But then again I've had many experiences that push my buttons that I've questioned my sanity at times. Especially when it involves work and treats of potential loss of employment. I have been betrayed many times, (at work and by my ex) and they all come back to need me. But it is in those times I have learned the most, any why I have a hard time not forgiving them. And that gets on my nerves as I really don't desire all the drama that comes with my lessons most of the time. lol Thanks again for your teachings! You are deeply appreciated! Guest guest
Jonathan, Hi. I thought I'd pass along something I read just prior to reading your post. I have an email subscription to "Today's Positive Thought" which I never read (ha), but something told me to read today: Today's Positive Thought Being conscious of your thoughts is the first step in transforming your reality. Today's Positive Affirmation I AM conscious of my thoughts and I easily replace them with thoughts that create the life I desire. Today's Positive Visualization I begin to breathe slowly and evenly. With each new breath I release any confusion from my thinking. I imagine that my mind is becoming perfectly clear and free of all doubt and worry. In my mind's eye I see myself going throughout my day being conscious of my thoughts and feelings. I imagine that I am easily able to replace any limiting thoughts with limitless positive ones. As I combine these new expanded thoughts with a positive emotion I see my thoughts becoming the reality I want and deserve. I give thanks that my thoughts create a wonderful reality for me. I combine these images with the feelings of joy and let them go, knowing that they will create the good things I am visualizing and thinking. © Creative Living Foundation, INC All rights reserved. ----------- I thought it funny that much of your message dealt with the same type of learning and transforming technique. You won't need this validation, but it may be nice to hear, just the same. I think the inner work you are doing with self awareness and evaluation and "putting ego in its place" is actually very advanced and would be careful not to put this work beneath the level of the energetic phenomena. You are doing difficult work on this (physical/mental) level because this is the way of your choosing. It integrates the higher ways onto this level, thus raising your lower/conscious level, but also the entire level itself (for all, in a way). It is what could be called transmutation at this level. It is what we aim for with our conscious participation in transformation; we don't aim for the kriyas; they just happen to us (if they need to). You are thorough in a way that I've always been able to relate to, and think things through in ways I feel are very advantageous to the spiritual path - ways that are willing to reshape current views and gladly sacrifice what is seen not to be working. Few are actually willing to do this type of work at all, so this abilitiy and inclination is indeed a gift. Being led through the old patterns with fresh eyes can be seen as a type of internal kriya, in my view. The energies being dealt with and neutralised can be stubborn and extend to the physical level, though the demonstration can feel more emotional than physical, but also felt there, usually seated in the solar plexus and gut and throat and other areas if you notice. There are a few ways to rid the energy field of dark/heavy energies. The way you describe takes place on the lower/conscious level and is in a way a very "hands on" way. I think there may come special benefits of doing it this way, because you are not only releasing the unneeded energies but learning how to do this in the process. I think we put too many conditions on the idea of "phenomena" or evidences of opening. These are many and varied and can sometimes be dismissed as "only psychological." They are actually quite spiritual openings and expansions into new and bigger realities to be personally experienced. I can also understand the wish to explore other self facets as you own more of your expanded Self. I respectfully disagree with C. that pursuing past lives with conscious intent is unproductive. These reflections and visitations can add to work now being done and there are techiques we can initiate to explore these areas, in addition to holding conscious intent. Spirit can and will use anything of interest or curiosity to us to teach us the lessons we desire to learn. Inspired to hear of your progress. Continue in grace. x, Droxine I will check out that book you mentioned. :-) , "jonrow_2914" <jrowland wrote:>> > That having been said I continue to marvel at the manner in which this> progression occurs. Guest guest
@@@ I think we put too many conditions on the idea of " phenomena " or evidences of opening. These are many and varied and can sometimes be dismissed as " only psychological. " They are actually quite spiritual openings and expansions into new and bigger realities to be personally experienced.@@@ I have read recently that " phenomena " is along the same or similar to the hypnagogic images we see as we go into that inbetween state of awake and sleep. Both are states we need to simply let pass without giving much thought to, so as to get to the more deeper states. When I read that, I realized I have not been experiencing that hypnogogic state anymore where you see the images of faces and such pass quickly, but I do experience the phenomena stuff at the beginning of meditating. I think that is why I don't experience the hynogogic images any more because I try to go into a meditative state each night when I go to bed and my night meditation usually ends when I fall asleep, depending on how sleepy I am. The hypnagogic images and the phenomenia are only distractions that can interfer with your meditation or Obe if that is your goal. Looking back I can see where the hypnagogic images ended my session of trying to go OBE and the same with the phenomena in reaching a deep meditative state. So it is the ego that creates these images, right? Linda --- " droxine5 " <Droxine1 wrote: > > > Jonathan, > > Hi. I thought I'd pass along something I read just prior to reading > your post.
