Guest guest
Hi all, I've been reading through and started practising the safeties, and I was wondering why the emphasis on root vegetables? Particularly garlic and ginger as I had read somewhere that they act as an obstacle to a clear mind, and to avoid them if you mean to meditate. Thoughts? Best Wishes, Karina
Guest guest
Root chakra veggies. They are in balance with the earth and are literal " fruits of the soil " . The densities of the roots are as a nurturing for the the human root. Carrots, potato, beets, jicama, parsnips, etc. Garlic, gensing, ginger, are indeed hot and do correspond with the heat of release yet do not need to but be taken daily. The meditation should not suffer if you are moderate in your intake and certainly feel free to eliminate that which you may not feel in resonance with as you do your practice (speaking only of food here). We are individuals. - blessings Karina! - chrism , " karinafinegan " <karinafinegan wrote: > > Hi all, I've been reading through and started practising the safeties,
