Greetings ---

I was looking through a book I gave my parents for the holidays called "The Third Jesus: The Christ We Cannot Ignore" by Deepak Chopra and I came across a section I feel moved to share with y'all...I'm interested in whether you feel like this stuff applies to your experience with kundalini awakening:

"In the middle of the [spiritual] journey one begins to reap the fruits of spiritual life. As turmoil lessesns and the soul comes closer, profound shifts occur. Epiphanies are no longer sudden bursts of ecstasy. Relating to yourself as a spiritual being becomes more constant and subtle...It's not possible to feel that you're growing every minute. There are times when no growth seems to be happening, when you've lost your focus. You experience discouraging setbacks, and long stretches when you've reached a plateau and can't seem to move beyond it..."

"Why You Resist Spirit [Kundalini?]:

Habit - The new experience doesn't fit your way of doing and thinking. Your mind is conditioned to cling to its old ways and resist change.

Memory - Your past overshadows the present. You assume that you already know what life has to offer.

Guilt - You draw back from new experience because you harbor a secret sense of past sins.

Self-Worth - You feel that you don't deserve these new experiences. They are 'too good' for someone like you.

Repressed anger, sorrow & grief - Old emotions that you have never fully released begin to surface. This frightens you, and you feel like shoving them back down into their hiding place.

Losss of control - The new experience causes inner turmoil and conflict. It feels as if you aren't in control anymore, which creates panic.

Skepticism & doubt - You don't believe that your experiences are real because your rational mind refused to accept them.

Victimization - You are accustomed to disappointing others and have very low expectations. You expect something bad to come out of any experience, no matter how good it may seem at the time."

"Positive Responses to Spiritual Resistance/Obstacles:

Patient waiting

Talk out the problem

Ask the underlying negative energy to leave

Summon help and assistance

Physical responses such as exercise, yoga, toning (singing or humming)

Breathing

Negative Responses to Spiritual Resistance/Obstacles:

Rationalizing

Ego

Timidity and fear

Procrastination"

Any thoughts? Just wondering :)

Love!

I think the move the matrix had a similar scene in the last movie, Where as neo was trapped on an underground rail station and could not get off it. I think once the k is activated these obstacles are there, Yes you can hide from it, though the notion of freedom will always persist.
