Guest guest
Hello This is the first time I have posted here. I have been part of the group for about 6 months but have not felt ready to introduce myself. In the past month I have been doing the safeties and tibetans and am trying to get into a daily routine. I have had some odd experiences over the years. This past summer was the first time the energy start at my spine and go up through the crown. This was a very gentle and comforting experience for me. I am posting today because I'm not sure exactly what happened last night. I turned the living room light off just before going to bed and the house was so black it freaked me out a little. I turned the lights back on and then turned on some night lights before turning the main one off. I not sure if I felt a presence or not. I remember most of my dreams clearly but this one was stranger then most for me. I'm not sure if I actually did this or dreamed it. I woke up with my hands in prayer position and thought Jesus - God - Holy Spirit - GET THIS THING OUT OF ME. Then I felt the Kundalini energy sweep up my spine and through the crown. I layed back down and immediately went back to sleep. I have no recall of anything happening before that moment. Was it a dream or not? If it wasn't was there something I could have done when I had that first uneasy feeling before going to sleep? Your insites are much appreciated. Thank you Lydia

Guest guest
Hello Lydia and welcome. You are not alone in your expeience. I have had similar experiences with K of not knowing if something actually happened or if it was a dream. Sometimes it is hard to tell. I thought I was getting used to them and have been doing good, staying relax through these experiences and surrending, then last night I woke up with my body viberating and was not conscious enough and I was like taken back in time mentally when all this began happening to me. I didn't know much back then when all this began happening, the strangeness of it all frightened me and I woke up calling on Jesus many times. In my not so lucid state last night I woke myself up crying out, " No! Stop! " Hehe! Drats, I missed my chance to go OBE. You will get use to it. It's just that Kundalini amplifies things, even our dreams, making them seem more real. The false awakening dreams can be really strange. At least that is the way I see it. Try not to get in fear over the strange happenings. I am sure there is nothing to worry about. Linda , " lydkra " <lydkra wrote: > > Hello > > This is the first time I have posted here. Guest guest
Hi Lydia & Linda, I had a similar experience a few nights ago. I have not yet experienced a " spinal sweep " , but I experienced one while I was dreaming. At least I think I was dreaming. It's hard to know. At the time I was very conscious of it, but now the memory has faded - so I'm assuming it was a dream. I felt energy shooting right up my spine and I couldn't breathe properly. Since that happened other phenomenon seem to be multiplying. Now when I am falling asleep I feel like the room is shaking, but I know it's not - has anyone felt that? At first I thought my dog had jumped on the bed and was scratching herself or something - it was that kind of shake - you can feel it in the bed. But no dog. Guest guest
Hello Lydia and nice to read you! This happend and it is a fact that it occurred for you. Would it change anything for you if you were able to discern its source as being in a dream? Dreams are where the Kundalini will most often communicate with a person. The dream life and the waking life can become combined and veracity of action and of teachings will exist in both areas. In the western societies we can often consider dreams to be less important that the activities in the physical life. They can be relegated to the waste bin of fancy and fantasy and given no more importance than what is given to a whim. With Kundalini dreams are a very important vector of communication. This communication can take place within the dream and yet have a very definitive action upon the physical body in the physical expression such as what occurred for you. I feel the spinal sweep was an excellent exprience for you and it did indeed do what you asked it to do. I feel you can realize this as an example of your communicative connection with your Kundalini and that you can use this as a way of opening your surrender to its transformative embrace of your being. The spinal sweeps are great harbingers of changes on the way. So get ready and pay attention to your dreams. - blessings to you Lydia! - chrism , " lydkra " <lydkra wrote: >Hello >This is the first time I have posted here. Guest guest
Thanks for all of your responses. I think it was the feeling of being out of control if it really happened that bothered me so much. If I made it into a dream it probabaly wouldn't have the same effect. I guess that is where surrending comes into play. I have lots to learn and am happy and thankful for all the information I have gained by posting this. Blessing to all , " chrism " <> wrote: > > Hello Lydia and nice to read you! > > This happend and it is a fact that it occurred for you.
