Guest guest
These are taken from some christian mysticism books, don't know the titles. I got them through e-mail from a chriatian mysticism study group I joined recently. I feel these messages are for all people, not just christian, so I thought I would share them here. ------------- Love vs. Fear Every single free choice you ever undertake arises out of one of the only two possible thoughts. There are: a thought of love or a thought of fear. Fear is the energy which contracts, closes down, draws in, runs, hides, hoards, harms. Love is the energy which expands, opens up, sends out, stays, reveals, shares, heals. Fears clings to and clutches all that we have, love gives all that you have away. Fear holds close, love hold dear. Fear gripes, love lets go. Fear rankles, love smooth. Fear Attacks, love amends. ---- A Certain Truth This therefore is a certain truth, that hell and death, curse and misery, can never cease or be removed from the creation till the will of the creature is again as it came from God and is only a Spirit of Love that wills nothing but goodness. All the whole fallen creation, stand it never so long, must groan and travail in pain, till every contrariety to the divine will is entirely taken from every creature. Which is only saying, that all the powers and properties of nature are a misery themselves, can only work in disquiet and wrath, till the birth of the Sons (I added the " s " on sons) of God brings them under the dominion and power of the Spirit of Love. ------- I added the " s " because I feel that the Son of God, Jesus Christ's physical work was finished at the cross just as he said when he gave His last breathe. It is our work under Christ, the sons/daughters of God, to continue the work now to bring under dominion all powers and principalities of the air with the power of the Spirit of Love. Those under Christ are the body of Christ upon the earth now, those who are serving through love, not fear. This is just looking at it in a linear timeline. In reality it is all done already, all of it. Hebrews 10:11-18 (New International Version) 11. Day after day every priest stands and performs his religious duties; again and again he offers the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins. 12. But when this priest had offered for all time one sacrifice for sins, he sat down at the right hand of God. 13.Since that time he waits for his enemies to be made his footstool, 14. because by one sacrifice he has made perfect forever those who are being made holy.
