Guest guest
I'm a little confused on my role with the Kundalini healing me. Do I actively search out ways of healing: psychotherapy, inner child work, etc. or do I just surrender and trust that Shakti will heal it for me. I practice the safeties and is this enough even for something as deep as this fear? Am I just getting in the way of Shakti's agenda by searching out or is it part of Shakti's plan for me to search 'outside' help? How much surrender should I apply on this or is this something that I'm just going to have to figure out. Is there nothing I can actually do to 'fix' this and all attempts will just prolong this process? Am I not truly surrendering to Shakti by not putting my whole faith in Her? This confusion reminds me of a story: A severe flood occurs, and a man is forced to climb on top of his house. The water keeps rising, and the man prays fervently for God to save him. A rowboat comes by, but the man refuses to get in because he believes God will save him any minute. As the water continues to rise, he prays even more fervently. A motorboat comes by, and again the man refuses to get in. As the floodwaters reach the top of the roof, the man prays again and this time a helicopter comes by. The man still refuses to climb the ladder into the helicopter because he is expecting God to save him. The water continues to rise and the man drowns. When his soul enters the spiritual realm, he meets an angel, and he indignantly asks, " I prayed for God to save me, where were you? " The angel answers, " What do you mean, I sent you a rowboat, a motorboat and a helicopter, what more did you want? Guest guest
Hi Craig, I have sought out assistance in my healing journey. In the past two years I have used reiki, bowen therapy, shamanic work, cranial sacral, yoga, EFT, and body talk. However I did not force any of this and it " presented " . I see now that I was shown many aspects of the safeties as well, forgiveness, etc. I'm not saying that you should use these modalities, they were right for me at the time. But what I have learned is that when a person is ready, it presents. A few weeks ago when I was having a battle with ego, I asked the Great Divine/God/Universe for help and within two hours a man I had never met shared with me his traumatic childhood and how he overcame it. It was inspirational for me. For myself, I run into problems when I resist. This group has reinforced the surrender aspect. Looking back, I think I surrendered to healing..... Carla 2009/2/4 JOHN. Guest guest
I really like that story and I think it makes a good point. We don't grow by just waiting for it to happen, we need to be active in our process as well. You need to look inward and see what Shakti has in mind for you. My intuition says self directed help rather than seeking out hypnotism or therapy. Using the meditation that Elektra mentioned or seeking out inner child work that resonates with you. Whatever you seek out, you should pass it by your Shakti first. You will receive direction. It was hard for me to do this at the beginning, somtimes it still is, but I have found that the answers do come. Guest guest
Hey thanks John, didn't know about the liver problems. But I do know that no one should ever have to take it, to me it was oppression of the soul. Well thanks John! craig , " JOHN.
