Guest guest
Linda, I am not forcing the K to move faster--that's not possible. I am trying to cleanse and open up more completely so that I am worthy of her. So far it has worked very well for me. Hadn't I practiced hatha yoga and meditation since I was a teenager, I don't think the K would have ever taken much interest in me. My constant quest for learning more and improving myself is part of the relationship I have with the K. Ever since the process started years ago, she has been teaching me and prodding me to keep exploring and learning more. Some of the things that I find out on my own bring me closer to her. Other things, instead, she has to teach me herself. Most of the time, the K gives me hints about what I should look for, and then she leaves it up to me to try and find out more. This game she plays with me seems to be related to the specific qualities and challenges of my current incarnation. Of course, I would never claim that this constant yearning is the only valid approach: I am sure that, for some blessed individuals, it is possible to do nothing and still progress. But that's not how it works for me. I am not so pure as to be an effortless mystic. Guest guest
This is how I see it, too, Sel. I have used massage, acupuncture, reiki, craniosacral therapy, myofascial release, rolfing, yoga, detoxification and improved nutrition (along with meditation and dream work)--all with the intention of 'purifying the vessel' and removing any energy blocks that would make the movement of the K energy harder on myself. Even so, I have had a few 'blow outs.' What it would have been like without them, I can only speculate, but I think it would have been harder. (And, it was spread over a period of nearly 10 years.) Guest guest
Thanks Selena, that helps me to understand better. I guess all those years of having the Holy Spirit working on puriflying my thoughts and actions was what prepared me to be able to be activated. We are all on the same path, but are each given different tools that resonate... what is needed for each to get to the distination. I don't believe anyone recieves salvation/ascension without any effort on their part, not even the pure mystic. The gift is given freely through Christ's sacrifice, but that doesn't give you a license to continued in your wicked ways. In Philippians 2:12 we are told to work out our salvation with fear and trembling. You have to work for spiritual maturation. Another verse James 2:26, states that faith without works is dead. It is kind of like if someone gave you a gift and you never took it out of the box and put it into action, then what good is it you? I am sure without doing the Tibetans and the breathing exercises and the other safties which have pretty much grown to be a part of me after all these years I would not be any more advanced than what I was before coming to this growp. While I was writing this I got a little drowsy and had a vision that I can't recall now, but it left a bitter taste in my mouth. Yuk!
