Guest guest
It always bothered me a little to count to 21 as I do the Tibetans. It just feels so cold and mathematical. I came up with a solution that I like. You may like I too Pick a mantra that you like. Count the syllables. (My mantra has 19 syllables) Do one repetition for each syllable. Add or subtract repetitions of the movement as needed. (I do two repetitions to start then I do a repetition for each syllable) It gives the whole counting thing a better feel. Hope you like it rich
Guest guest
Thats a nice idea, and I agree counting to 21 makes me feel like Im in the gym doing reps! Not exactly the spirit in which its intended... I try to give them more meaning by stopping inbetween each tibetan and praying for a moment, centering myself again before the next one.
