Guest guest
So I wanted to share my daily routine, for no reason other than absolutely no one I know would be remotely interested and would think I was really odd =) I dont really like calling it a routine, because it makes it sound dull, which it isnt, I love doing it! So, 6am I get up for work and do all 5 Tibetans in the peaceful quiet of the morning. I also add on the camel pose at the end and do breathof fire while in this pose. My drive to work takes me one hour, which is a perfect oppertunity to do my morning breathing excerises. I have some really peaceful cd's I play in my car which help. I start with alternate nostril breathing, which I do for anywhere upwards of 15 minutes. I then switch to Kapalbhati Pranayam, which is contracting the navel region sharply whilst exhaling, done at a reasonably quick pace. By the time I reach work I feel like Im glowing, and Im 100% wide awake and energized for the day (unlike everyone else at work who look tired hehe). On the way home I repeat the breathing excersises exactly as the morning, which gets rid of any stresses and strains from the day. Before bed, I repeat the 5 Tibetans, then use an hour of time in bed to meditate as I dont really have any other time to do it! On weekend days I practice Kundalini Yoga for about hour each day, which really gets rid of the week at work, totally blasts it out of my system and makes me feel completely rested! Well theres it is! I would be really interested to hear what other people do each day as part of there lives on this path! Big smiles and hugs to all Andy
Guest guest
Hi Andy Here's my routine, I get up at 4 AM sounds terrible but I start work at 7(that is terrible) I go for a run and swim then I do 5 Tibetans and a round of Yoga with Pranayama and Bhandas, 15 rounds of salutations to the sun, chakra clearing poses and then get ready for work. I also arrive feeling really wide awake(most mornings hahahah). At night I do 5 tibetans and about an hour of meditation and maybe a reiki self healing session. And that is my self time which if I dont do daily renders me almost useless to man or beast. Hahahahah.--- On Wed, 2/11/09, andyrpreston <andyrpreston wrote: andyrpreston <andyrpreston Daiy Routine...
