Guest guest
Thanks for bringing this one back up to the top, Julia. I missed this one and it was a lovely one to have missed. I followed that link back a ways, since it brought up some post from 2006 before my time here. Some of those post helped answered my rather dumb question on the other thread. LOL! I learned from reading one of those back post that the 5 Tibetans generates micro Kundalini. I have been here for 2 years and did not relealize that is what the 5 T's do but just thought they were a form of yoga that were connected with activating the first 5 chakras. I did not know before my dumb question that they were for the balancing of the physical body, but I guess I should have guess that since they have the connection with the 5 chakras which connect with the physical glands. From all those post I found this post of Dhyana's from 2007 and I thought it worthy of being brought back up for the newbies to read. Linda ------------- Service From Dhyana Message #20248 In the early days when I first moved into serving others I would look for opportunities every day. The smallest thing that would appear to me I would jump at. People were afraid to mention things to me because I would be all over them. Ah, those were the young days! As I grew in being a Servant opportunities would come that would show me things that were in no way what I wanted to do. I didn't recognize them as opportunities at first. I just saw them as awful, and would run in the other direction! After a while I began to feel deep pangs of " conscience " when I would pass by these " opportunities. " I recognized I was being called to do these things that were so distasteful to me. In finally surrendering to them I began to see that these were the real acts of service because I was going beyond myself in what I was willing to give to another. Then the opportunities would become very subtle, and easily missed. And if I missed them a deep ache would begin in my heart. Sometimes I had to cry to release it, and promise myself that I would do better. I found that my heart was really becoming a part of this, in fact it was leading me. It would see things that my eye couldn't. And so I began to listen to it more instead of going by sight. The Service bagan to deal with issues of the human heart, as well as physical needs. I learned when a hug was needed, or a touch, a word, a look...nothing more. I found Service becoming a state of being " available', no matter what the situation was. The other was the focus, and what was revealed to do. It felt like being a glove on the hand of the Divine. I no longer go looking for things, they come to me. The present moment is a split second, and so much can be missed if the attention is elsewhere. In being a Servant I've learned how loving God is, and how much that Love wants to move into the world. How much the tiniest need is noticed, and cared about. So, the more we become available, the more Love can enter the world. With each act of Service we add momentum to the River. Nothing is too small. Thanks for listening. Love and hugs, dhyana , Julia Onnie-Hay <iaonniehay wrote: > > > Word!
