Hello Andy,

As you practice daily and as you begin to come into balance

emotionally from doing the forgiving and experiencing compassion and

in your own way helping others the expectations from the Shaktipat

will diminish. This is helpful.

A place of non expectation contains the freedom for anything to become

realized. You are unique and individual in what you are here to do

Andy. Therefore so will your response to the Shaktipat be unique and

directed by the Kundalini in you that is being gently activated.

Sometimes we are not prepared to experience the whole self as can

happen from a head blowing Kundalini experience. Not saying that these

ferocious awakenings are bad or not helpful for those that have them

this is the " way " for them. Merely saying that it can sometimes be

very difficult.

As a person goes into a system for awakening as we do here I feel it

is best to go slowly and gently into the truth of how we are with

regards to the Kundalini. We are inside of a western oriented

technological society. It is still necessary to drive a car and work a

computer and live in certain ways with an addiction to specific

monetary systems of governance. So slowly and gently awakening the

Kundalini via the Shaktipat is merely taking a " safe approach " as in

many cases Kundalini can turn the reality of the person upside down

and inside out.

We will respond differently to the Kundalini and yet we will also

respond similarly. Just like people are all the same and yet unique at

the same time. So do try to temper your expectations as best you can

and do the practices and be diligent in the practice of ALL the

safeties. This will bring you into the balance that can best help you

on your Kundalini journey. - blessings Andy. - chrism

Thank you for your reply, that makes a lot of sense and is much clearer

for me! Sorry to make such a mess of the first post.

Ive got very little in the way of expectations, but knowing a little of

what is to come is always reassuring =)

Thanks again and sincere blessings

Andy
