Guest guest
I thought that Rosicrucians, Arcane School, Astara, Agni, Arthatic Yoga, Builders of the Adytum, and there are many more, I am sure, are all esoteric schools the study of which will lead to the activation of the Kundalini. Esoteric in itself means 'difficult to understand',or 'knowledge for the initiated only', or 'secret knowledge'. Does this not go back to truth. That there are several levels of truth, and the deeper truths can only be understood from experience, widsom, purity and grace, so therefore we cannot make any judgement on anothers Path, journey, or source of their knowledge or practises, as each of us are climbing the same mountain but by the different routes. In every school of life and spiritual study there will always be the ones that try to 'control' 'influence' 'want power' and even misuse the knowledge, and we should not single out the Rosicrucians or Arcane School or Astra, just because a minority has stryed from the path. Please forgive me as I am only a student myself with no wisdom, I can only follow my heart, and speak my own truth, rightly or wrongly as the case may be Satchitananda~jeremy
Guest guest
Not every school of life does this Jeremy. It isnt done here that I know of and Kundalini is certainly a school of life. By their fruits shall you know them. In this case I feel this is a tool of discernment. And you may have read that no one was targeting the entire population of the Rosicrucians. Merely those who may have motives that wouldnt be helpful for the person inside of the Kundalini awakening. If a group is engaged in a spiritual/physical practice that is damaging to the health of others we can indeed make determinations to avoid that group without falling into a moral judgment. imho. blessings my dear friend! - chrism , " jezzwhizz " <jezzwhizz wrote: therefore we cannot make any > judgement on anothers Path, journey, or source of their knowledge or practises, and we should not single out the > Rosicrucians or Arcane School or Astra, just because a minority has > stryed from the path. >
Guest guest
I was a member of the Rosicrucians, and I can say it was/ is a great group and great people. yeah, it is one of the secret societies, one of several, so you may feel priviledge for being a member, and it is rightly so. You should feel like you are special. It goes back to the days of Ancient Egypt. I think it is similar in many ways as the Masons. The knowledge you learn and gain is valuable, and indeed special. The only reason why I am not now, is because I couldnt make the membership dues one time. I must say, some people are opposed to secret societies, some people like big women and some people dont... do what makes you happy grasshopper. There is no more important point in time for you than the present, be happy in it.Discover what makes you happy and do it often. Guest guest
I totally agree: do what feels right and makes you happy. Yet, I do have a concern about how joining certain secretive groups makes you feel " special. " The step between feeling " special " and feeling " holier-than-though " (literally!) can be relatively small. When the Dark Night of the Soul strikes, letting go of that feeling of being " special " is all the more painful. This innocent little vanity quickly turns into shame, guilt, and all sorts of torturous things. Bottom line: There is no free lunch with the K. All the emotions we go through need to be assessed dispassionately, or they'll come and haunt us at some point. Sel
Guest guest
I mean, " holier-than-thou. " Sorry for the misspelling.
Guest guest
I say this in the most respectful way - a secret society that makes one "feel special" sounds very much to me like something that plays into ego. Imo, we are all special and we all deserve to feel that way, but no secret society is required. I also question anything that requires "dues" where one is kicked out if they can't pay them. This is all catering to ego and relying on things outside of ourselves to feel worthy. At so many levels, that just feels wrong to me. Just my ten cents.
