run away dogs

hi, I've found this strange. Since about the end of december, I have

come across at least 7 dogs running loose in the neighborhood, and 1

running outside the neighborhood where it was extremely dangerous. The

one outside the neighborhood I helped, and found it's owner within

that day. These other dogs though I see while I'm walking my dog, and

most of the time feel it's not safe to get close to the dog (since

I've returned from maine with my k activated, it seems that my dog

wants to attack other dogs outside of the house, I haven't figured out

a way to stop this, she used to be so loving toward all beings). But 8

dogs in the past 2 months? I've rarely seen run away dogs in my life.

I have a feeling Shakti might have a part in this, for service, but

besides the one dog that was loose in the dangerous area, I feel that

it's best to leave the dogs be, their owner will find them quicker

that way. But today, I came across a dog and it was so sweet, but I

saw it was still 'all male', so instead of bringing him inside, I sent

Shakti energy his way and asked that Shakti help him find his way back

home. I feel bad now, not knowing if that was the best way to help,

but he had a collar with no tag, and there's only one way out of this

neighborhood, and figured he'd be safe in here. Don't know if it was

the right decision though....Could Shakti be sending these dogs my way

for me to be of service and how can I tell if it's best to leave

things be or to take the dog in and actively search for its owners?

I have had the same problem in my neighborhood. I walk everyday and

know pretty much which dog belongs to what neighbor. I have taken

some home and others I know the people are just letting them run

loose. Some are strays people decided they did not want any longer

and turn them loose in the neighborhood with the hopes someone will

take them in. My daughter came by her dog that way, I kept it for

several days and we couldn't find the owner. :)

It could be Shakti but it could also be the fact that with the economy

as it is many people are letting their pets loose - they can not

afford to feed them. Some are looking for homes but many are just

leaving them. I heard horse owners are tying their animals to light

posts - others are standing on the street asking people to take them in.

It is very sad but I think we will see many more animals out and

about. Can you call the animal shelter to come get them?

My friend takes info and finds homes - that is a service she does

because it breaks her heart to see pets left in any way.

To all the animals that are being affected by this world economy may

they find good homes and not be left to fend for themselves and may

they find owners to love them.

yes, that's very sad, and no matter what they still love us back and

keep joy in their hearts (unless totally abused).

A couple of times, I continued on my walk with my dog and by the time

I came back I would hear the dog barking inside someone's house. Other

times, I just wouldn't see them again, like my furry friend

today...just wished I would have petted him at least...you live and

learn. If I did see them again I would take them in for a week while

posting fliers out, I know around here the animal shelters don't keep

them long before putting them down.
