Magic. I believe rightly or not as the case may be that `magic' is actually `Self-mastery'.

Namaste,

Of course there are many good books like Creative Visualization by Shakti Gawain. We visualize our goals and dreams. The classic being to send the images of our goals in a pink balloon, to rise to higher states of consciousness to become reality.

From my limited understanding to materialise a goal we first need to visual it. We then surround that visualization in Love to help manifest it, and then we let it go.

It is the letting go that in turn helps to manifest the goal. To make this even more powerful we can send the thought form on the outward breath. Thought is an energy in itself. Visualise the thought as an object or form, surround it in translucent pink light from the heart centre, and release it on the outward breath. The breath is highly important and really makes the exercise more powerful.

Of course for birthdays we have a cake with candles. Blow the candle out and make a wish. Here we are then working the magic, making the wish, using air and fire. It is important to know what your thought is when blowing out a candle as you are then working with both elements, air and fire. Doing the finger lock, the gyan mudra, index finger and thumb together, the thumb is fire, and index finger air.

So now then if there was a complete ritual to follow - that would make the above writings very rigid. I believe we need to remain open and flexible. Also happy. Oh yes very happy. It is also the high energy, the feel good factor that helps to solidify the thought forms we are creating. To manifest we need to try raise our emotional state to one of great joy. This may appear hard if we are having a bad day, so we act it. Fake it to make it. Positive energy manifests. The higher our own energy, the stronger the focus, (single minded pointed-ness) surrounded in Love, we are creating our own Genie, just like Aladdin and the lamp, (Truth is hidden in fairy tales) as we breath out the thought form into the Universe to manifest. And then let it go….

Lastly and possibly the most important fact is, "As a man thinketh so is he"

We are living gods. It is the conditioning of our parents and early teachers that turn us into the little devils we become. The Law is simple, "What we give we will receive"

"What we send out we will get back" or "As you sow so shall you reap"

The video and book "The Secret" are excellent. Using the knowledge there with the knowledge here, and with the knowledge you already have, that combination of the three, we can all manifest whatever we wish. That's the magic. And it usually happens when you least expect it.

So what I write, are these ramblings of a madman? Oh yes, but if you could visualise a goal, so intensely, nothing else exists, surround it in Love, expel it into a flame, or send it out on numerous repeated outward breaths, feeling elated with joy as you do it, and then let it go, only for the magic to somehow work within an unknown time frame, you'd feel mad too. You will not know if it works unless you try it!

One of my biggest painful experiences in life are when I think something and then it happens. Did I create it, or foretell it? The most powerful and precious thing we have is Love, and after that it is our mind, (in my opinion) and with Love and our mind we can create anything. I do not so much speak from what I have read elsewhere, but speak from personal experience. What we think we create. Problem is most of us do not think. We think we think but our thoughts are controlled by our feelings. Like a replay of a scratched record stuck in a groove, the same message over and over again. This is where meditation helps to control the mind, again leading to Self-mastery, or magic.

Loving kindness ~jeremy

ps. The pointed hats worn by wizards and witches, are that cone shape because that helps to channel energy into the crown like a funnel, or so I have heard :-)

Thanks Jeremy for that lovely and well presented post, I loved the cat magicain doing some dream spells whilst looking adorbale (cuteness magic is a magic unto itself :)I think that creativity IS our being, alongside destruction, and these components ARE magic, what is magic but to create or destroy through conciousness.Seeing we have these abilities it would be pretty crazee to allow us to run around willy-nilly without training, who knows what might happen!!! Thank God for this training school and for the fact of being here now. WOW. Mind blowing how amazing life is. I will never get bored of it.Thank you Kundalini for allowing my magic to grow in ways that are beautiful and constructive, and thanks again Jezz for the post, love elektra x x x
