Thank you John:

 

I enjoy reading about the role of a guru. It is an honorable role

that is often not understood nor held in the esteem I feel it deserves

in the western culture.

Guru is a great responsibility, I believe it is shunned by many masters,though it is compassion that leads the masters on. I can only reflect on why the descended masters keep a low profile yet guess at the reason why. Some masters have been known to chase there would be decuples away with sticks.

 

Guru sloka is a great song to sing that brings one to there inner guru.

Maybe that should have been descended-ascended masters, I meant the ones that had passed on and in spirit in any case.

Angelina,

Maybe it depends on what lesson need to be leant.

Sometimes the world just seems so empty though the look into the eyes of a loved one the heart just seems to become fulfilled.
