Guest guest
This is an article from our KAS1 archive for those who may be experiencing a Shaktipat for the first time: Shaktipat > Emotional Balancing As I explain at the seminars, the use of this energy must always be based in love and consideration. Never out of hatred or spite, revenge or greed. There are certain fail safes within this that will present to the person who operates outside these parameters. Sometimes after one incident sometimes after many it depends upon the what is being learned and how the K (being an intelligent force by itself) wishes the response metered. Clearing the five bodies is one of the most important tasks for the person preparing to receive the energy. Forgiveness is the first step. Forgiveness clears the past and present energetic attitudes of an individual, and if you have been practicing other systems this will become clear to you as your energy will respond almost immediately to the idea, before the Shaktipat is even initiated. Yoga is great for the physical centers, major and minor, to begin to receive the energy. There are no barriers of distance for the Shaktipat. It is constant wherever you are. I use a scatterfield technique that keeps the energy at a 24/7 level and sometimes not; it varies with the individual. I ask that the person be involved with a practice of the safeties that is in accordance with the application of forgiveness, love, trust, surrender, diligence, service, gratitude, and honesty for a start. The bliss and joy will come after the initial spinal sweep. You will own this activation/awakening. I will merely facilitate and offer assistance. Skipping Emotional Balancing If a person decides to skip some of the emotional balances as is usually the case, and then continues to practice the Kundalini generation of the physical practice along with the Shaktipat, without following the safeties, the results can be extreme. An example would be the results of giving Shaktipat to people, at close range, without any guarantees that they are in a practice that could ensure their safety. This would be the teachers' mistake. I have made this mistake but was able to erase the Shaktipat, allowing the individual time to build a stronger platform for holding this kind of transference. Basically It would be doing like any other teacher who is giving an effective Diksha. But with no follow through or help as the activation develops results. I will not allow this to occur. The Scatterfield, which is a cellular consciousness that is given to anyone anywhere in the world, is an effective governor of the Shaktipat I give. It will deliver the amount of Shaktipat that it reads as a reflection of the quality of that individual's practice of the safety protocols. The Scatterfield was allowed by virtue of my not wanting to give Shaktipat anymore without being able to control or ameliorate a difficult response without stripping it completely. So this was given. Now it is much safer. With the " Safeties " I can give a Shaktipat and the person will receive it by virtue of the practice they have and are enjoying. I can also still strip a Shaktipat if needed. There are still many surprises to be sure - having is very different from wanting - But the pathways to a beneficent experience are well outlined in the safeties and these will guide you and help you whether I am here or not. The safeties stand alone on their own merits. When a Shaktipat is given, I still try to screen out, as much as possible, those who are doing it for a quick fix or instant enlightenment (which can come) but are unable or unwilling to walk this path without trauma. Shaktipat is the beginning not the end. Activation is relatively easy. Awakening is more challenging. So in regards to the Shaktipat it is on the merits of your practice and is a safe situation. No need for fear or anxiety. Yet it still requires careful consideration and is not to be trifled with out of mere curiosity or laziness or a desire for a shortcut to an enlightened state. Don't Mix in Other Techniques and Instructions If you mix and match techniques and instructions you can bring influences into the equation that may not be beneficial to your experience. Not saying that this is absolute but that there is opportunity. It is your choice but I strongly advise individuals to stick with what is offered here first. Do it the way it is advised here first and then when you are finished you can insert whatever it is that strikes your fancy. -
