House on Fire Dream

I woke with this dream during the night. My house was on fire and I was at

another place were a gathering of family and friends was taking place. I think

we were celebrating my house being on fire. LOL! I was not concerned about it

burning and we were told it would take all day for it to burn completely. There

was this young girl child there and she was upset over it being on fire. After a

little while the young girl was missing. I and another person went and found

her inside the burning house. The fire had not spread to all the rooms. The

kitchen and living area were not burning yet. There was no smoke, just fire but

it didn't seem to be burning up the house the way fire normally does. Flames

where everywhere, but not turning anything to ashes. The girl was hiding in the

living room. We made her go back to the gathering and told her she could not

stay in the house while it was burning.

Some time later she was missing again and we went back to the house to see if

she had gone back inside. Only the kitchen was the only part not burning yet

this time. It did not appear she was there. We decided to get some juice and

sandwiches from the frig. Then I went over and looked into the freezer for

something and there was the girl child curled up in the freezer, blue from being

so cold with frosty ice particles all in her hair and on her skin. She was just

barely alive. I gathered her up in my arms. I woke up at the point.

I figured the girl child was my ego or inner child. Are ego and inner child one

and the same or separate concepts? What did it mean for her to go into the house

with it burning and then get in the freezer and almost freeze herself to death?

I know the house being on fire has to do with kundalini, but what does it

signify exactly?

Hi Linda,

Fire in a dream signifies transformatinon and houses represent the self. I would take this to mean you are undergoing a complete transformation. It isn't in a flash, it is moving room by room, area by area. The girl is probably part of your inner child (different from the ego) that is holding onto something she doesn't wish to deal with. Part of the K tranformation is to deal with all our issues and perhaps there is one from childhood that is going to be a toughie. Freezer indicated frozen emotions to me, she is going to fight tooth and nail NOT to participate. It might even be a fear that she will disappear altogether. Many parts of us fight change and struggle to survive.

Thank you Sarita. That makes sense to me. Now just to figure out what the frozen

emotion is all about. As a child I use to spend a lot of time off to myself out

in the wood or up in a tree and I did a lot of crying, but I don't remember what

I was so sad about. It probably had to do with me not feeling loved, maybe. I

don't know, but it always makes my head hurt to try and think about.

It made my head hurt just to write that. Like a wall of pain in my head

separating me from whatever.

Yes the house is the self and the Kundalini can also be seen as the holy fire or

a divine fire of transformation. The frozen emotions are those which are being

given an opportunity to " melt " by your awakening and for your awakening. - imho.

With dreams, often when difficult things are ready to come to the surface there will be indicators first - such as this dream you had. I wouldn't be surprised if you dream of a basement or cave (buried memories surfacing from the unconscious mind) as this progresses. Dont' give yourself a headache. To me that indicates that you are not ready for what is surfacing. The beauty of the higher self/unconscious mind is that it knows when we are ready. We will often receive buried "treasure" a little at a time. Trust that all is in good order and it will be revealed in time. My ten cents.

Thanks Sarita, I have had both basment and cave dreams in the past few years.

I am beginning to think the headache wasn't because of me writing that, it just

so happen to began at that time. I went an laid down hoping that would help it

to go away and I fell asleep and sleep all aftenoon. I woke up feeling sick and

still had the headache. I think I much be geting sick with some virus or

something. I have not felt all that good for seveal days.

I may need to have some healing energy sent. For now I am going to go do a long

soak in the whirlpool bath and see it that will help me feel better. All I am

wanting to do is go back to sleep.

Thanks for you help in the interp and all, I appreciate it a whole lot.

Blessings to you Sarita.

A weird thing this afternoon. It seemed all the birds in the neighborhood

congregated at my house and they terribly loud with all the chirping. As I

walked around the neighborhood there where not many bird to be seen or heard.

When I got back to my house they where all still there being very loud, except I

could not see where they were in the trees. It sounded like hundreds of them.

I also remember another part of a dream I had a couple of days ago. I dreamed I

was helping a child who had fallen into a ravine and she could not get out so I

took hold of her arms and was pulling her up. It was really hard for some

reason, but finally I gave a strong pull and up she came and I fell back and she

fell on top of me. When I open my eyes, intead of it being the girl it was a

giant bee with it's face right up close in my face. I woke up.
