Guest guest Posted March 11, 2009 Report Share Posted March 11, 2009 Hello Ernie, The safeties are really the only modality needed and these are basic conscious living tools i.e. even without the advancement of the Kundalini they are good and healthy habits to incorporate into ones life. So please consider this and let go of the attachments that you have become used to. This is new and is internal and no outside force or influence or modality other than Kundalini needs to be brought into the equation. When the Shaktipat begins please reintroduce the five Tibetans back into your practice. Start at the lowest rep (6). In the mean time work on the forgiveness and the rest of the safeties minus the Tibetans. Forgiveness is very personal for each of us. The formula is simple however. Think back and remember a time when hurt was inflicted upon you or from you towards another. Remember the pain and the hurt. Forgive the person who caused this by releasing any residual fear or anger or hurt or revenge or guilt. Forgive yourself for being part of it. Do this over and over on different days and with consistency and allow new (old) memories to surface and balance them as well. Keep moving into this paradigm Ernie and you will find your practice of it. Whether or not your sincerity is strong enough isnt a concern just allow it to be as it is and then move on.
