Guest guest
Hi everybody, I'm quite new to the group after having a very abrupt K awakening which I was not ready for. I seem to have gotten through the 'dark night of the soul' phase with my sense of self intact, although it was difficult trying to operate from day to day while going through this. At the moment I am trying to 'get' a good grounding before going any further with this as it is really difficult working, seeing friends and family etc. when it feels as if I'm 2 feet off the ground (how's this for synchronisity- as I write this I've also got google open and the google logo letters are all shamrocks with roots going down into the ground- how strange!? lol) Any grounding exercises that I try seem to work while I'm doing them (I usually do them before going to sleep) but then once I finish them it's like everything starts rushing up from the root chakra until it reaches my crown chakra and it sounds like an F1 car is driving out of the top of my head! (please forgive my use of grammar as I'm not really sure of the correct terminologies to use). So what I'm asking is if anybody could kindly recommend some grounding exercises that won't make me fell as if I'm shooting off into orbit once I'm done?? Any of your thoughts/advice would be greatly appreciated!! Just a quick note aswell to say I feel very grateful to have found this group and reading all of your open and supportive mails to each other is making my transition/awakening go a whole lot smoother, and you do a really great job of making all of this happen; I'm sure there would have been many a 'lost soul' without your fantastic website/group!! Blessings to all of Us Shane
Guest guest
Hi Shane Welcome to the group. I myself never had any success/staying power with exercises and visualizations. The biggest help I ever had/have staying grounded is by spending time outside as much as I can, gardening, sitting on the ground reading, walking outside etc. Trees are incredibly grounding so find a tree you like and sit with it for a while every day if you can. Be sure and thank them for their wonderful and wise presence. blessings sharon , shane leonard <shane_paul_leonard wrote: > > Hi everybody, > > I'm quite new to the group after having a very abrupt K awakening which I was not ready for. Guest guest
yes, this is the best method. and yet another one (that i use) is to let your forehead (third eye) and top of the head (crown chakra) touch the floor/ground. like you might have seen people in India going to the temples and bowing down touching their foreheads in front of the idols. quick and effective , <firefly wrote: > > Hi Shane > > Welcome to the group.
