Guest guest
Some Preparations for Shaktipat Week For all who want to begin and end the Shaktipat at the same time does, please check the timezone map for your starting time: http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/converter.html Shaktipat begins Saturday, March 21st, 3am West Coast,US Time See what time that is in your timezone. Each " Day " is a 24 hour period. Example: If 3 am Pacific Time is 8 pm where you are then Shaktipat Day One begins at 8pm for you, and goes until 8pm the next day. Day two starts then and goes to 8pm the next day, etc. * * * For our new members who will be participating in the upcoming Shaktipat beginning Saturday, we will be doing chakra breathing as we move through the chakra system. If you'd like to review what that is you'll find it here: *Chakra Breathing* Breathe into the areas where you know the chakras are. Base of the spine, the navel or slightly below, the solar plexus, the heart, the throat, " stay away " from between the eyebrows and the top of the head with this technique. (Severe headaches can come) Touch the area or lightly pinch it and using that lasting sensation, breathe into that point. As you breathe feel the air come and go from your nasal and throat areas and consciously transfer or double the sensation to where you have touched or pinched the skin. This should feel as if you are breathing from the point you have selected. It is best to start from the base of the spine to the throat. Bottom to top. Do not over do this and do not spend too much time in one area. If you are going just for the opening or energizing of a chakra this is effective but the Kundalini can burst through if you are too persistent. Be absolutely certain you are prepared for this. - Also articles about each chakra for each day of Shaktipat will be posted and can also be found in The Seven Chakras File. Not mandatory reading, just for your enjoyment. Instructions for each days practice will be posted daily. No need to wonder. Also, the whole weeks instructions will also be posted the night before Shaktipat begins, Friday, for those who will be away from the computer for the week or who just like to know ahead of time to plan accordingly. Please post any questions. Smoothing out the bumps now may allow for a more focused and sacred week! Love, dhyana
Guest guest
Hello, I am trying to find out exactly when the 2009 Autumnal Shaktipat is taking place, so that I can plan my three day fast. I'm finding it difficult to navigate the ocean of messages on this board, and I haven't had any luck with the search engine. Guidance is very appreciated. Thanks, Adrian , " novalees " <dhyana wrote: > > > Some Preparations for Shaktipat Week > > For all who want to begin and end the Shaktipat > at the same time does, please check the > timezone map for your starting time: > > http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/converter.html > > Shaktipat begins Saturday, March 21st, > 3am West Coast,US Time > See what time that is in your timezone. > Each " Day " is a 24 hour period. > > Example: > > If 3 am Pacific Time is 8 pm where you are then > Shaktipat Day One begins at 8pm for you, and goes > until 8pm the next day. Guest guest
Please wait a few days so we can check out the exact date. Whatever the date the Scatterfield is placed 9 days before Shaktipat begins and continues 9 days after the Shaktipat ends - so you will have plenty of time to prepare for a fast. So the entire event takes 25 days total. chrism will be available soon and can inform us of the date. There often is confusion on the dates for the Shaktipat. It will be clear soon.
