Guest guest
Are the jhanas the same as the enlightenment of the pineal gland? If not are they connected to Kundalini? thanks craig
Guest guest
Yes Craig they are different words for some of the symptoms of Kundalini. Typically from a Buddhist point of reference. They are also referred to as " ecstatics " or " absorptive responses " to certain meditations or stimulus of a Kundalini like origin. Here is some more info. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dhy%C4%81na , " kundaflame " <kundaflame wrote: >Are the jhanas the same as the enlightenment
Guest guest
thanks for the link Chrism! About a year ago I was practicing this type of meditation (from Ajahn Brahm's book Mindfulness, Bliss, and Beyond) but I stopped when I started to doubt and was afraid it was cutting me off from the physical reality. I'm feeling drawn to start this practice again which uses the breath as the vehicle to these states. I have a feeling this will take me deeper into the truth and help me surrender the self more easily and more readily. craig , " chrism " <> wrote: > > Yes Craig they are different words for some of the symptoms of Kundalini.
