Yes Craig they are different words for some of the symptoms of Kundalini.

Typically from a Buddhist point of reference. They are also referred to as

" ecstatics " or " absorptive responses " to certain meditations or stimulus of a

Kundalini like origin. Here is some more info.

thanks for the link Chrism! About a year ago I was practicing this type of

meditation (from Ajahn Brahm's book Mindfulness, Bliss, and Beyond) but I

stopped when I started to doubt and was afraid it was cutting me off from the

physical reality. I'm feeling drawn to start this practice again which uses the

breath as the vehicle to these states. I have a feeling this will take me deeper

into the truth and help me surrender the self more easily and more readily.
