Guest guest
This is kind of a random thought, but after reading someone's post about having visions of driving nails into his feet, I wondered if Stigmata is ever associated with Kundalini. I read an interesting hypothesis in a book called the " The PK Zone: A Cross-Cultural Review of Psychokinesis (PK) " , by Pamela Heath MD. In the book the author talks about cases of stigmata and how it may actually be closely related to spontaneously psychokinesis, or poltergeist phenomena, in that it is usually a manifestation of something within the person's subconscious causing these episodes. Not only was spontaneous PK often experienced around the person experiencing the stigmata, but on rare occasions other symbols or graphics would also appear on the person's skin. These graphics were usually in books or in the church the person experiencing the stigmata would attend regularly. In most cases spontaneous PK stops when the person realizes they are actually manifesting these phenomena themselves. I have never experienced stigmata myself so I can't say for sure that I agree with this hypothesis but I thought it was interesting. It would not surprise me if someone who was deeply religious, and was experiencing a Kundalini awakening or rising, experienced Stigmata simultaneously as a direct result of the awakening. Any thoughts?
Guest guest
Kundalini and stigmata are closely related. There are many reasons for it. In essence this is the physiological representation of divinity expressed upon and outward with the human being. In this case the palms being a focus point. The nails of the Christ are a common understanding though some feel he was nailed through his wrists to keep from being dismembered by weight. Another aspect of this is the red of the blood indicating a divine expression coming from the first chakra. The blood of the divine. An opening of the palm chakras as well. Karmic considerations of past expressions in a sacred Christian context can also be a cause though others in other cultures were also treated in these ways. We are natural conduits of the divine expression. It will often come through us in ways that correspond to our divine beliefs. It will also come to us far outside of our beliefs. How ever it comes it is a supreme gift and reverence and devotion towards its expression is very helpful in its development within the person. -
Guest guest
One of my first 'big dreams' that I thought merited recording involved stigmata. In it I had gotten dirty while cleaning my house, and I went into the bathroom to wash up. Every time I would lean over the sink drops of blood would drip from my chest, and I saw in bold letters the word 'STIGMATA.' I've never had any actual bleeding, although I thought it's interesting that the Feast of the Stigmata of St. Francis is celebrated on September 17, which is also my birthday..Carolyn--- On Sat, 3/21/09, astraltraveler1984 <mjf84 wrote: astraltraveler1984 <mjf84 Stigmata - & Kundalini Date: Saturday, March 21, 2009, 3:45 PM This is kind of a random thought, but after reading someone's post about having visions of driving nails into his feet, I wondered if Stigmata is ever associated with Kundalini.I read an interesting hypothesis in a book called the "The PK Zone: A Cross-Cultural Review of Psychokinesis (PK)", by Pamela Heath MD. Guest guest
Very interesting. I wonder what are some other types of divine expressions that manifest through people. I have heard of accounts of spontaneous levitation, even something about a flying nun (not the sally field tv show). I suppose the possibilities could be endless. Thank you both for sharing, love - Matt
