Guest guest
the phone call and encouragement earlier this evening. Just what I need. LOL! I was feeling a little discouraged because of all the headaches I have been experiencing for a couple of weeks now. It is hard to do the tibetans, breathing exercises, and to meditate with your head hurting. Anytime I am experiencing pain I also have nausea that goes along with. These headaches begain the same day as my " House on Fire " dream. Last spring shaktipat I began having the phenomena of what seems like a switch being turned off and on inside my head. It stayed very subtle for the most part until after winter shaktipat. I have had a lot going on since then. The now more " electical like " sensation has become a lot more pronouced. I have wondered if it has some connections with the loud popping/gunshot sounds often heard in the head. I still get those too though, so not for sure if there is a connection. It is sort of like when the ringing in the ear all of a sudden decides to change frequency, only what I am experiencing is not a sound so much, but more an electical sensation of something being turned on and off, on and off, repeating sometimes for several minustes. I can be up walking around doing stuff and it will began to happening. Has anyone else experienced anything like that? I am thinking they have to do with the headaches, but not for sure about that either. I do know for sure though, it is all has to do with K energy. I have also been experiencing a lot of physical fatique, which also does not help with keeping up with the practice. I did not feel I was going to recieve much with this shaktipat because of all that is going on. I came close Friday night, getting in touch with to tell him to take me off the list to recieve this time. told me tonight that I was recieving and doing great, so I will except that and will continue the best I can. Chrism gave me a technique/practice tonight, to help with the headaches. I will share what it is. If anyone else is experiencing headaches, it does help. After getting off the phone I tried it out and afterwards I was able to do the first session of the practice for this day. I will do another before going to bed. Maybe even do it twice more. I am feeling fairly good right now. What you do is form your hands into Kubera Mudara and hold the tips of the fingers at the temple area for a while. http://healing.about.com/od/east/ig/Mudra-Gallery/Kubera.htm If you have long nails like the lady in the picture, you may need to file them down some to be able to hold the tips of your fingers to your temples. For me a calmness instantly went through my head. The pain was in my 6th chakra area. The rest of my head had a numbness feel to it. Much of today I have had the sensation of my physical body being hollow, except for the pain in my 6th chakra. The first and second day I felt heat focused in the first 3 chakras when doing the chakra breathing exercise. More so in the second and third even though the first day of only doing the root chakra breathing. That has been my week so far.
