hey Angelina, it seems that when I can increase my vibrations, my energy

expands. One thing I've started doing is doing metta mediation almost daily.

When I'm in that loving vibration and bring that to the present moment, to

forgive and openly embrace the now during meditation, my energy expands. Also

spending some time in the morning and night forgiving. I ask my heart what

situation or person that still needs to be forgiven and wait for the answer to

come with as much focus on the question as I can. Also during the day I try to

be mindful of my thoughts and when I notice an angry thought or negative thought

I stop what I'm doing (or go to the bathroom if I'm in a public place) and

forgive and open to the experience as fully as possible.

So basically, the more loving and content I am with the present moment, the more

my energy expands during meditation. And with that, the more I'm willing to let

go of the past and future (a visualization I sometimes use is seeing the past

and future as luggage that when I sit on my cushion I lay it all down, just for

the meditation period, my mind is more willing to let go of it if it knows it's

just for a short while). Well that's about it, hope that was a clear

explanation...

Oh yeah, there's one more thing, I tried this during Shaktipat and will continue

to see how it works. When I do the chakra breathing, I use the affirmations the

Dhyana gave us for the explanations of each chakras during shaktipat. I choose

whichever one's move me the most in the moment and say it at the beginning of

the breath and then hold that thought in my awareness for a total of 3 breaths

and then move on to the next affirmation for the same chakra and hold it in my

awareness and feel the feelings of it actually being true for the 3 breaths and

I do this on up to 21. I also imagine the color of the chakra where it's located

and then allow that color to fill my being and basically become that color, like

I'm illuminating that color.

So basically I try to embody the affirmation and color while breathing into the

location of each chakra on up to the 5th chakra. This seems to increase my focus

and vibrations too.

Chrism let me know if this would be storming the gates, I'm hoping that it helps

to balance the chakras, and it feels like it is.

book search and then type in " ajahn brahm mindfulness, bliss, and beyond " and it

should pop up and it gives you full access to the book and pages 65-70 is the

section about metta.

cushion is another. Let's just say I have many opportunities to practice

forgiveness throughout my day, lol.
