Guest guest
Yes it can just appear in your life. Out of the blue. No meditation or yoga or activation from a Guru. It can just happen! Typically a person has had previous existence encouraging this condition. This puts a strain on those who have issues with the whole past life existence idea. So I will not " push " this idea. Instead I will focus on what you can do. If you are suddenly taken with the symptoms of the Kundalini and I mean more than one or two but with an abundance of the symptoms. Begin to do the safeties. Some of the earlier symptoms are a dissatisfaction with current living or relationship or behavioral approaches to happiness that do not include a sense of deep inner spiritual happiness. A kind of searching for that inner quality of grace and completion that can be so elusive in our western society. One can have wealth and looks and career and accomplishment without feeling a sense of wholeness and completion. Something is still missing. This kind of an outlook and feeling can be a precursor to a Kundalini event. Searching for a meaning in life and a dissatisfaction with the status quo of spiritual and religious offerings. Somewhere inside the person experiencing this is the knowledge of what needs to occur. Of what next step needs to be taken. Often it is the Kundalini. So it comes and so overwhelms the person that they self admit to a psyche ward and pollute this incredible condition with tranquilizers and heavy sedatives that actually can scar and hurt an individual permanently. Instead I suggest that the person begins to practice the safeties. Begins to condition ALL of the bodies not just the physical. But the mental, emotional, psychological, spiritual as well as the physical. Those " seeking this path " can have a distinct advantage as the conditioning can be done consciously and with intention and the infusion is much, much smoother and without the trauma that those without the conditioning can experience. -
Guest guest
Chrism, I had a fall and bruised my tailbone at age 13, which may have been the impetus for my kundalini experiences, which through your education I can see now clearly, oh *that's it*! Is it possible to recall the previous lives, if any, where kundalini karma was sought? Is this kind of accident really an accident? Your counsel to those seeking this path to practice the safeties is so right on. What an advantage. I'm here to testify...! As the more subtle/unrecognized k-activity emerged, amplified by yoga, mantra and meditation practice of the past several years--raising kundalini wasn't on my radar-- paradoxically as the more peaceful I started to become, the rancid toxic emotional states purged, the amplification effect kicked me downstairs several times from this boomerang effect. Not until I finally started on a serious forgiveness path has this started to become an uplifting experience, with gifts unfolding at an amazing rate. I don't honestly think I would have ever dared to seek kundalini if it had not come unto me. In retrospect, I consider with little doubt that without the kundalini experience coming unasked, I could/would still be where I was at (or worse), stuck in emotional turmoil and not motivated to change, grow, or seek a better way. The path of least resistance. Had I known of this essential preparation earlier in life would have made a smoother path but now I feel lighthearted and it doesn't really matter as I've learned to let go of coulda--woulda--shoulda and all that. You do a tremendous service, thank you. On a side note, any sense of the percentage of folk who have spontaneous vs. practice-based or shaktipat awakenings? Just curious...
