Hey Nicole,

This could have been my post (except for the place you saw near the train). I

too am searching for apartments. I looked at one today that was a carriage

house and it had character but not great upkeep, and then one very cool place

but there were three other apartments in the building unrented so I'd be in this

remote place by myself & it had an unsafe quality to it. There are times I

laugh about it and others I stress & doubt. Isn't it cool that you have such a

sense of knowing that a place isn't right? I just read this book called The

Camel Knows the Way all about this woman's surrender visiting and working with

Mother Teresa. The guy puts here on a camel and slaps it to take her across the

desert telling her the camel knows the way. I think for me that walking through

these experiences when I can't see my way have brought me greater faith that it

will work out the next time and I go through it a little less uncertain. I have

a friend that keeps telling me that my apartment search is an adventure so there

are times I can approach it this way.

Wishing you the best on your search.

love & blessings,

jan

will be?As you all know,i've been doing a very extensive and exausting search

for an apartment and i've seen some but none of them felt or were right for

us.The last one i saw looked good to me but it had a noise problem as it was

very close to the train and also a safety problem with the entrance being right

smack on the sidewalk.I just knew that it wasn't the right one, lol.I check for

apartments 3-4 times per day, everyday until i can't take it anymore. Why does it

have to be so hard ?I need to trust more that K will come through and that in

the end i will find the right apartment but that it's getting harder as the time

i have left gets shorter. How can i trust more ?

Oh,Jan i had no idea there was someone else here looking for an apartment. Here

in ny trains come every 10-20 minutes so it's not like i need the noise.I'm

trying to make things as quiet as possible and there are times when even normal

noise bothers me a lot, lol.Hmm,you are right! I can't see the way but deep down

i know it but i must surrender and trust that K will bring me that elusive

apartment no matter what, lol. An adventure ?This is going to be hard with each

passing day but i'll do it because i must do it.

Nicole,

If you’re looking for an apartment in NY area perhaps you are

limiting yourself to too small an area and K wishes you to broaden your

search. Just a thought as I know based on my experience that what is needed

will appear. The only times there have been some difficulties have been when I

stubbornly demanded that it be (present itself) my way, i.e., not allowing

enough guidance in where or how.

Oh,you just told me to broaden my search,Asa ?Hmm,I'm quite stuck with the 5

boroughs now and unfortunately now it's too late for me to ask permission to

look elsewere.I just started asking K to hand me an apartment on a platter only

recently so maybe that's not it ?I don't seem to care anymore if i'll find an

apartment or not but i still continue to go see apartments.Today,i realized

,that the fact that i have been unable to find an apartment yet, failed to affect

me.

As you notice I said perhaps as I cannot tell whether you had

done as many of us would and place conditions. The only thing I can

relate to is how I have lived my life. I have always known that what I

needed would be there when I needed it. Whether it was a car payment,

house payment or whatever, something would always appear when I needed

it. Even what many would consider negative, such as being forced into a

new career or job, I always knew it would be for the better. If after 61

years that stopped tomorrow I’d still look at it as that what was needed

for me at the time.

It has never been so much as me asking for something as it has

been a knowledge that whatever came it would always be for my best

interests. I am just very thankful and grateful that I have been brought

to and this group. What will be will be.

With Love and Light,
