Guest guest
Hi Linda,(I live in an area that has a lot of cement and feels artificial to me. In almost 12 years I haven't found my special place here.)I wanted to reply because of what happened the other day on the way home from the laundromat. I was driving home and, totally, spaced out and missed my turn (a really major intersection). I had no idea where I was. Completely disoriented. Then I saw a little brown sign on the side of the road "Delray Oaks Natural Area". I thought, "Wow, there's my spot but where the heck am I?"http://www.mydelraybeach.com/Delray/Departments/Parks+and+Recreation/Facilities/Nature+Areas/Delray+Oaks+Natural+Area.htm This is about 1-2 miles from where I'm staying (as the crow flies).I wanted to post this as a reminder (to myself as much if not more than anyone else) that sometimes what seems impossible is right under our nose just waiting for us to space out and stumble into. Rather, I mean... be open and allow to happen. ;)It could be, next time you venture out, something you never noticed appears. It could be a place you've never been in a different way. I'm not sure I'm making sense. I hope your new place manifests soon.Love and light (and oak forests),aressps. I'm going to head back there very soon with paper and pencil. pps. I hope this is not too far off topic for a public post. , "Linda" <crazycats711 wrote:>> I would like to participate, but I don't think there is such a place here where I live, unless I trespass on someones's property which would not be safe. Every place that I know of that is assessable, I've been there before already.> > Linda>
