Nice to read you are coming into a finer balance Mark. Continued blessings to

Problems can sometimes arise in that certain lineages and teachers can feel as

if they can chart the course of the awakening without having had it themselves

or feeling that it is the same for everyone or surrendering to the Guru rather

than the Kundalini.

 

Most yoga people have no idea even though from the alive or dead teachers they

will feel they will have a grasp of it due to what has been written. Kundalini

is most often beyond the written or spoken word. I struggle to place meanings

that surpass human reference when I try and write of my experiences. Sometimes

this works and sometimes the writings do not work for everyone.

 

After reading Gopi Krishna's account I could well understand that most gurus or

teachers or saints had nothing in the way of control over the divine that is the

Kundalini. It is its own consciousness.

 

So I will suggest that if you have an interest in these teachings that you

partake of them but without the allegiances to the gurus or teachers of that

sect. I will suggest that you already have the brightest and most powerful

teacher a human can have - the Kundalini itself.

 

Let the Kundalini teacher guide you.

 

Go to the yoga for comradeship or the music. By some CD's that have sung

Sanskrit on them and immerse yourself in the prayers that are these songs. Never

release a firm and clear understanding that no mere human, chrism included, has

a better understanding of what you are going through than the Shakti Kundalini

itself. No one knows you better than the Kundalini.

 

If someone communicates that they do I suggest that you walk away.

 

Yes this will mean that in many ways a corporeal person may not be there to calm

and comfort you. But we will! - lol. It will mean that you can explore what it

means to have a form of divine guidance. Because that is what this is my friend.

Make no mistake about it.

 

So yes take some comfort from belonging to a group of people. Us or the Yoga

people but also take comfort and give true hommage and respect and surrender to

the Kundalini within you. Not another person or teacher or leader can supersede

that which is beyond the physical expression or ego consciousness. No money or

belief system or physical " thing " can supplant that which is already teaching

you.

 

You can honor the process by paying attention and joining to the process with

love and happiness. We are your friends here Mark for you and every single

member of this group. We are a Shakti Kundalini community. We are here for you

After reading that I thought " Why would I not surrender to the

Kundalini? " The other night I was told to feel joy, not fear, when

funky things were happening. That makes even more sense after reading

this. Thank you for another well written explanation.
