Guest guest
Hello all, thank you so much for sharing your experiences and advice! I would never construe anything here as medical advice, so the disclaimers are unnecessary, though I do understand your position. Just to update, again last night same problem. I didn't even attempt the waterbed, went directly to the couch. But I still have immediate discomfort chest and lower back pain directly after laying down to try to sleep. No position alleviates. It seems odd that I am fine during the day whether sitting, walking, or any other form of exertion, but as soon as I lay down to sleep it starts.... and doesn't go away till morning. Lay down, pain, get up any time before a full night sleep and pain. There is a bit of lag in the morning where it still hurts after getting going, but at least not as bad as laying down. I don't like to do this, but last night I took an excedrin PM shortly before bed hoping it would knock me out till morning and I could get a good nights rest for once, and instead of waking up at 1:29am like the previous two mornings I woke at 4:00 something, so that was progress. I'm going camping in the middle of the woods tomorrow (one of our favorite secluded sites) and am very worried about sleeping. I have hard enough time going from a heated waterbed to a 2 " air mattress that leaks. Massive aching when camping, and now add this chest thing into the equation.... I will probably take two of the PM's to try to knock out for a decent sleep. Anyway, sorry for rambling, I don't mean to whine, I am just very concerned about this, and I know the medical field wouldn't have an answer after weeks of tests... This is a weird scenario can you imagine repeating the above to a medical Doctor? " My chest pain knows when I lay down to sleep " . " It's after me! " " My chest hates me! " I don't think so. I do know this isn't something medically wrong, I don't feel that it's that. I feel it's something else and K is the only other suspect. That or my weaning off Lortab, but wouldn't those syptoms be constant and not selective? Confusion. Bill , " Sarita " <sarita1969 wrote: > > > Hi Bill!
