Hello Valarie, I have been busy with my kids, my hubby, church, the Daily Bread, moving, looking for a house (still looking for a house), my husband's retirement from his service of 24 years in the Navy, gardening, reading, spending time with God on a personal level, etc. etc. How have you been? I hope all is going well and it's nice to see you all again.

Love,

Katherine

I love gardening, but here where we are (still in Florida) is quite hard, still renting. Needless to say though, I have found a way, at least for the time being! I have used pots to plant my veggies and so far so good! I have about 20 watermelon plants in one pot. I didn't think they would all grow because they never do, soooo when they grow up a bit I will try to transplant some into other pots!! LOL!!! I also have 5 squash plants, 7 okra plants, several tomato plants, spinach, swiss chard, 2 habanero plants, a red chili pepper plant, and I believe that is all! I plan to share the fruits of our garden with others as God fulls them with delicious yet nutritional fruits! I am so excited about them all!! We are looking for a house with land big enough for me to have a traditional garden, but right now

I have to do what I have to do. Right now we have some squash, red chili peppers, and a tomato and some spinach and swiss chard. I talk to them almost daily as I know they like my being present and talking. I do praise and thank God, for He is the Creator of all things including my plants and fruits. Tonight I made a dish with red, orange, yellow, and green bell peppers and I took the seeds from them so I can plant them so I am excited about that as well! I will be getting more pots tomorrow for them. Right now we have 18 pots and more to come!! LOL!! I love gardening, it is one of my passions, but most of all I love to share the fruits.

Anyhow, as for the house hunting we have found one, but they are wanting to much for it. Frank's new job requires travelling. He went to Guam in February for a month and just left last week for another month to go to Cape Town, South Africa and in July he will be going to Brazil and Ascension Island for almost a month, so it makes it quite hard to house hunt, but I know without doubt or reservation that God has a house picked out for us...no doubt, one where I can plant a big garden, okay not a real big one, but at least I won't have to use pots!! Say a prayer for our hunting!! We have graciously been blessed with Frank a job and I know we will also be blessed with a house in God's time not ours!

Anyway, I hope to catch up with you more later!! Have a wonderful and beautiful night and Blessing to you!!!

Love,

Katherine

-Wow, you HAVE been a busy girl! Good luck with the house hunting. That's a tough one, especially right now, the banks don't want to lend, I'm hearing. And I often relate God/Divine with gardening, the two just seem to go together so well for me. Time in the garden (or nature in general) is usually time spent with the Divine. And you get the fruits of your labor, too. So good to know you are back here and to really feel your presence again.Love,Valarie
