Lie down on your back and make a fist with your dominant hand. Now tuck your

thumb into the fist. With the base of the knuckle of the thumb, with moderate

force thump the area between your breasts, the sternum, and up towards your

chest. Do this until it begins to buzz and it will.

This is the Thymus gland. This action done consistently will begin to

re-initiate a healthy status to this organ. After doing this you can feel the

vibration of the thymus for about a minute afterwards.

The Thymus gland decreases in size after about the age of thirty. This action

upon it will stimulate its continued presence inside your body as an important

participant of the immune response. So nurture this part of yourself as it is

indeed an important gatekeeper to the Sacred Heart. -

This post intrigued me. I get a lot of energy in my chest area and I sense my

heart chakra spinning a lot especially when coming out of meditation. For

sometime now, I have notice I rub and pat myself in that area of my chest a lot.

It seems the energy builds there really strong at times and the patting and

rubbing seems to disperse it. I also have caught myself rubbing my face many

times a day for the same reason.

Anyways, that is not what I was writing about..got a little side tracked. The

last sentence of chrism's post is what got me started.

@@ So nurture this part of yourself as it is indeed an important gatekeeper to

the Sacred Heart. @@

I could not get my mind off that sentence for days. :) So I did a google search.

I really love the net and all that info at your fingertips. I tried googling

different phrases and didn't come up with much, but yesterday I tried the

phrase, " Is there any spiritual significance for the thymus gland. " Wow! I came

up with so much I could write a book about. It is really fascinating and the

thymus gland really is the gatekeeper/gateway to the scared heart and more. I

bookedmarked many pages to read later, because I could not get it all read

yesterday.

On one site they wrote a chakra there between the heart chakra and the throat,

the thymus chakra and that it's color is turquoise. I then looked up the

spiritual meaning of the color turquoise. The following is what I found.

@@@ The Color Turquoise, Blue green and Aqua,

Love, healing, generosity, emotion, feeling , the unconscious , intuition,

individual responsibility, creativity , communication, self reliance ,

independence.

This color has more to do with feeling and creative expression than with

rational thought. These colors between green and blue the shades of

turquoise, blue green and or aqua relate to transformation, evolution, change,

sharing, waves, metamorphosis, transmutation, the inner teacher, and the

spiritual heart or Thymus Chakra, a transpersonal chakra on the hara line

(deeper aura level ) about midway between the heart and the throat. This is a

chakra which connects us with energies of spiritual love and mystical communion

and the Divine or God concept (however you name it ) as teacher and as Sacred

Lover and beloved. These are shades that admit us to varied realms of the

trans-dimensional, meaning existence beyond time and space. While the most

common elemental attribution of this color is to water it is also a color of

air and spirit. Turquoise is associated with ancient civilizations, the New Age

and also with the zodiac sign of Aquarius. The word aqua means water. These

shades are strongly evocative of the ocean on a clear day especially that of the

lovely warm tropical Island seas .This family of colors is a color of mystics

and telepathy a symbol of the heavens and of the sea, of fluid movement and

mutability.@@@

This is especially meaningful to me. Back when my kundalini first began to get

really active, I had a strong electrical type sweep that went to my heart area.

Around that time I had a very vivid dream of walking across this open field and

there appeared 3 luminus turquoise roosters (not for sure if they were all three

roosters, because two of them were smaller in size or maybe they were all roster

shape birds). They rushed at me about the time I saw then there and I took a

step back startled and I fell back onto the ground. They rushed to my face and

chest and were pecking me all over there.

I hope you don't mind me sharing some of what I discovered about all that.

Love & blessings,

Linda

Thanks for the info, Linda. And Chrism, I found it to be sore-ish in that area

when I thumped it. Tender. Also got perineum flutters, restless legs and saw

white spots in front of my eyes, not sure why/how that is connected. Definitely

want to keep the immune system up esp. with all the pollution I live in daily

(some from overhead, I think) as well as things just going around in general.

I just love and absorb the gems you give us. Thank you so much!

Love,

Valarie

I need more of those memory T cell. Hehe! Just joking. But could use some help

with my memory. The other day I was eating lunch and got side tracked with

something. LOL! I ended up outside doing some yard work and when I came back in,

my lunch was still setting there mostly uneaten. I wish this was the only

incident of my absent mindedness. I do things like that more and more often

lately. My mind gets on other things and I forget I am cooking or watering the

yard or whatever. I don't seem to be as good with multi-tasking as I used to be.

I forgot to give that website addy where I got that info. This person has a

really nice website and lots of spiritual info. I had an instant liking of her

after reading just a little on her site. Someone I would love to have for a next

door neighbor. :)
