Guest guest
Our trip ended on a good note - we drove into Santa Fe- I hit the Georgia Okeefe museum Zach went off to explore the town - the town has a flavor very unique - we saw this huge masonic Scottish temple - did not make it there in time to go in - took pics will post soon- we visited the St. Francis basilica - they are renovating this church in the middle of downtown - lots of history there - it is to celebrate its 400 year anniversary - oh the scenery is so much more than i remember - there are mountains here lots of big snowcapped mountains and trees - it is not all desert - color - lots of purples, pinks and creams with the oranges and shades of tan - and so much more - we stopped to take pics of the formations - i just do not remember all this - we are at a couchsurfers house on the side of a mountain over looking a beautiful gorge of stone formations, there is a trail that zach checked out - only need to watch for rattle snakes and guess what THERE ARE NO MOSQUITOES- I AM IN HEAVEN!!! we will be unloading tomorrow and then plan the next few days - if we see anything special i will share i want to ty the readers of this little adventure - i know i am here for some reason - zach and i traveled together for a reason and i will stay here for a time for some reason - i miss my geno - am not sure if i will see him again or be able to bring him out here - there is more tripping i feel in my future - it may be too much for geno and for me to care for him - very hard choice - i feel as if something is missing - i hear the birds singing and know he would love to hear them - i saw many birds on the trip all to remind me of him - he is a special critter - he would love the views, the sound , the air and the sun - i have so much more detaching to do - no great insights today - am trying to stay focused and not worry about the job and the leaving of my former life and jut accept the now and my new life - so much to learn about the place and people to meet - but for now - it is seeing/sharing some things with zach - then get down to business - it gets cold at night here - i love that no air conditioning just clear mountain air - get to wear warm clothes and lots of covers - my energy is active tonight - a constant vibration - zach and i were wondering how we were affecting each other - his calmness and ability to be in the now is giving me a lesson in patience and seeing a different view - he practices the safeties openly - a very good role model - a very good teacher - i am grateful for the lessons... e
Guest guest
and Zach, I really enjoy reading your posts, and as someone else stated, it is like a good book and I await to read about your experiences. I've always said to friends and co-workers that there seems to be a misconeption about where learnings come from. In society, there's a frame that wisdom comes from older people. This may be the case in some instances, but I've seen such ideas and concepts from younger people. At work I've always tapped into the consciousness of subordinates as they are the one's in the trenches everyday and they have such first hand knowledge of what works and what doesn't. The same can be said for any experiences in life...it's a matter of paying attention. If we are to experience K as children, then pay attention to what children do when they find something new...model the one's who do things very well.
