Guest guest
Hello Asen,Replacing cooked foods with Raw Foods is a great for your health. There are a few diets that exclude plant fiber but that doesn't seem to apply to you. I find that I can no longer eat many food items that are cooked even if they are simply cooked oats or rice for example. Grains and chicken, even free range organically fed chicken reaps problems for me even if they are unflavored. Uncooked foods can be prepared in a variety of delicious ways. Many raw foodists say it's not about permanently excluding cooked foods or animal products - it's about replacing cooked with uncooked to get the best nutrition availability from the ingredients. Here sometimes your body says eat meat even if you're vegan or vice versa.thank you for the blessings,Love,Anna From: asen_perperovDate: Tue, 12 May 2009 19:24:15 +0000 Raw food and Kundalini.. Guest guest
Yes Asen, replacing cooked foods with uncooked foods to the degree that you are comfortable with is auspicious for sure. (sounds Oriental doesn't it) Raw carrot juice in the morning is so good for the body - along w/other root foods as found in the diet section of the KAS1 Pages. A note for anyone with a loved one facing an issue w/cancer... cooked foods are not giving the body what it needs to restore it to a healthy a state. Someone I know says that her white blood cells increase if she goes back to her old way of eating which we call the Standard American Diet SAD. She advocates juicing greens w. juice and uncooked foods exclusively. All the best to you Asen, Anna From: asen_perperovDate: Wed, 13 May 2009 17:48:48 +0000 Re: Raw food and Kundalini.. Guest guest
I’ve been an Ovo/Lacto vegetarian for a number of years and haven’t had any problems. I do consume a good amount of fruits and vegetables in the raw state, however, since I consume eggs and diary I’m still pretty well covered. My daughter was a Vegan for over ten years with no adverse effects until she got pregnant then she also switched to Ovo/Lacto. All of us in my family that are vegetarians do consume soy based products which are cooked as well as dishes in which vegetables are prepared. Unless you are being guided to strictly stick to raw you may want to consider adding soy based products and adding a certain amount of cooked dishes as well. Preparation of cooked dishes allows the opportunity to introduce various herbs and seasonings into your diet that helps maintain balance. Hope this helps. Peace be with you. Guest guest
Hi Tom,Seems to me the Kundalini's work on the brain and digestive system will require that the diet go simple in a lot of cases. Fasting lets the brain do new stuff in you through the Kundalini instead of attending to the digestion process over and over again. I had a long period of not eating food and the Kundalini was rocketing in my limbs - that's not the balance taught in this KAS1 Group. Now I find that for me I'm down to 3 or 4 foods that I can tolerate on a day to day basis and flavoring is really optional to say the least. I have had a revulsion for eggs for a few years and find I can no longer eat almonds. I'm really down to blueberries, carrots, occasional corn tortilla. I love hummus but I don't know why it's not agreeing with me. Every body is different. I can't digest chicken flesh comfortably nor meats. I can probably eat fish and tofu and edamame soy beans - But something very nice happened at the Seminar 2 wks ago.. my appetite is almost lifted completely - (long awaited respite my body is saying) and it feels like the "triple heater"??? chakra if that's the right location, is energized w/ a high vibration that came from a Group Shaktipat. I feel as though I'm half my age and on B-12 vitamin. That's what I remember about my first B-12 shot that I was suddenly zooming. If I keep the dietary thing simple as possible, for me the reward is a better attunement of the Kundalini energy. I'm hearing more through clairaudiency... musical notes, and sometimes loud sounds. At the seminar I heard bamboo notes coming from behind our chairs. Must've been Craig P's Guide. Kidding. Guest guest
I suppose you mean Vegan (no milk & milk products).I & #180;m attracted to that kind of diet ,the case is that & #180; & #180;appropriately planned vegetarian diets are healthful, nutritionally adequate, and provide health benefits in the prevention and treatment of certain diseases. However, poorly planned vegan diets can be deficient in nutrients such as vitamin B12,[72] vitamin D,[73] calcium,[73][74] iodine[75] and omega-3 fatty acids.[76] These deficiencies have potentially serious consequences, including anemia,[77] rickets[78] and cretinism[79] in children, and osteomalacia[78] and hypothyroidism[79] in adults. & #180; & #180; The citation is from wikipedia and i found something similar in another places also.It is interesting how your daughter, Brother Asa, didn & #180;t represent any of these cases after 10 years of vegan diet. From another point of view we should subsistence any way before the domestication of the cow and the sheep. Thanks to everyone for the information and Blessings! > I've been an Ovo/Lacto vegetarian for a number of years and haven't had any > problems.
