Guest guest
Previously I studied Reiki (am a non-practicing master). I haven't used it, except on myself on the very rare occasion if I'm trying to heal some of my own health conditions and feel inclined to try it. But to be honest, I really haven't felt any benefit from it. However I do sometimes feel some tingling or electricity zaps in my hands. I'm not sure if that is the reiki, or I'm feeling Chi or what. (Or maybe it's some neurological symptom...who knows.) Now at the shaktipat, and going forward, I started to feel pulsing in my hands. A different feeling. And also continuing feeling of energy as before. I'm not actively thinking of reiki or chi or whatever when I feel this. But how can I be sure of what is going on, that it's not just reiki? Or does it even matter that I know what the feeling is? - Mika
Guest guest
You are becoming aware of the body and its layers. You will have all kinds of sensations as the body is diverse in its activity. There can be flowing, pulsating, or whirling sensations, depending on what is happening. It is more important to have the right intention and clear visualization than to perceive phenomena, even though the phenomena gives you an image of energy. A person could very easily feel and direct their chi, but without a strong devotion or intention nothing is accomplished. A person could have no perception of their chi and still work miracles because of the purity of their heart.Mika <mikalarson Sent: Saturday, May 16, 2009 9:27:19 PM how can we be sure we aren't channeling reiki or chi? Guest guest
Hi Mika,I am a master reiki and I used it for many years and gained much benefit from it having had no previous experience with energy work or meditation , it helped me a lot and opened up a door in my mind to other things such as the kundalini.I never felt the reiki as electrical zaps, more a warmth or a pulsing.K feels like zaps thats for sure, as for chi I really dont know, but I dont think it really matters. It's best not to focus too much on phenomena when seeking kundalini and union with the divine. Just listen to your inner voice and follow your intuition, try not to over think stuff (I know thats hard for men in particular with their love of logic and details!!!) Lots of love and blessingsever joyful elektra x x x
