Guest guest
Hi, am I the only one, or does anyone else experience dark thoughts and feelings a day after doing kundalini yoga. I only can get to my practice of kundalini on Saturdays and Sundays as I teach during the week and am exhusted when I get home. Any replies would be welcome. Walking helps immensely, but I get so blue after my practice. It would be great to get some relief.
Guest guest
Oh yes, I have an answer for you. Ever since I awakened Kundalini, she has been very direct about me facing my fears. What helps for me is to put them into a microscope. Trust me, when you deal with them, they no longer have any power over you. Same with depression. Learn where they stem from. Actually I JUST became liberated from my fear of entities. Like not even 10 minutes ago. I just had to face them. It started with me forcing myself to looking into every shadowed corner. I said, that's it... no more feelings of fear when I see shadows and wonder what resides. When I was done with that, I meditated. Right when I was meditating, shadow entities appeared. I then proclaimed, " I am a vessel of god. I am a vessel of Divinity. You have no more power over me. " I actually felt Kundalini flow through me like a physical snake after that. I actually felt Kriyas. Energy constricted me and I was no longer afraid. I fell asleep. I woke up often whilst feeling the actual snake go thouugh me. I played with it, enjoyed it, then fell back asleep. No they weren't kidding about how she physically feels. At one point I then awoke in the night with my third eye opened in a sleep paralysis state. I saw two massive black entities. I said, " Into the light now! " They stood there and I repeated it and repeated it. Getting angrier and angrier. One started flying towards me and I called up the power of the angels. Then I awoke in real life, and those big black entities I saw? They were a T shirt and a night stand LOL! They were me. My own fear. It was all in my head! I think I finally am beating that fear! Just trust that she has your best intentions in mind. Trust her tough love. She will liberate you, and it isn't always fun. But damn it if it isn't completely worth it in the end! , " g10va441 " <g10va441 wrote: > > Hi, I'm normally up and very positive, but often, the day after I practice my Kundalini Yoga ( I have cds and practice alone in my home by watching the cds and doing the postures, breathing and mediations) I experience dark thoughts and feelings. I have had these feelings before when I would go on meditation retreats whenever I would return, but now this stirring up of negativity happens when I do kundalini yoga. Does anyone have any input for me. Oh, walking helps immensely. >
Guest guest
namaste dear one,i stand on my feet all day in my job, and get off at 3 everyday. i too come home exhausted, and want to collapse. these are the days i feel these dark feelings you speak of. when i make myself walk or go to yoga class, i am amazed at the energy i feel afterwards.please follow the safeties, diet, tibetans, and other advice from chrism. the energy moved in kundalini yoga is powerful, and best practiced when you are able to handle the feelings that can be brought up when she begins to rise.Julie--- On Tue, 5/19/09, g10va441 <g10va441 wrote:g10va441 <g10va441 Dark Thoughts and Feelings Date: Tuesday, May 19, 2009, 11:30 PM Hi, am I the only one, or does anyone else experience dark thoughts and feelings a day after doing kundalini yoga. Guest guest
The Kundalini will amplyfy fears and worries within us at it tries to move upward. Thats why we practice the safeties and forgiveness and surrender and release, its a long journey but a worthwhile one as the results are a clear emotional body. Are you doing forgiveness and emotional releaase? Looking within to see what in the mental and emotional body needs to be balance? Anxiety is fear do start asking yourself where this fear comes from and try to let it go.Hope that helpslove elektra x x xbe ever joyful
Guest guest
Hi, my experience has been that when beginning practices like meditation or kundalini yoga, then the repression layer tends to get relaxed and open up as the practice begins to work. What may happen is that repressed emotional material, fears, or past negative experiences that havent been accepted or understood, start to bubble up to the surface and appear as dark thoughts and feelings. Its essential to practice the safeties to begin to build a platform from which the self can be transformed. The only way through is to be present to these feelings, and not push them away or act on them (get overwhelmed by them). A useful practice of surrender (IMHO) is to notice and name the thought or feeling, then in the inner voice (your thinking) simply say " lord, I offer this thought or feeling to you. I ask for it to be transformed " . hope that helps love Bruce , " g10va441 " <g10va441 wrote: > > Hi, am I the only one, or does anyone else experience dark thoughts and feelings a day after doing kundalini yoga. If people were having earthquakes like we are here in the South Bay, CA, they would really have a reason to feel anxious! I am at an oil refinery right now and the people here are very nervous ~ we had a 4.7 on Sunday and a 4.1 yesterday and the epicenter is in the town right next to me. " . . .how true. . .. " . . . Thank goodness one of the nice things about most problems and many of those things that go bump in the night is most of them do not exist except in our imaginations. love and light life is good ordinary sparrow , " angelikdementia " <angelikdementia wrote: > > Oh yes, I have an answer for you.
