Guest guest
This is sometimes about sudden change. And how it can have an effect on us and those around us. Those (us and others) who may not enjoy " change " in one they have come to know and can become fearful because of it or angry with such change as it doesnt fit into their preconceived ideas of what is appropriate behavior. Then there is the phenomenon of the visions or the energetic surges and the hot or cold sensations. These would be of the Shiva aspect or the sacred male aspect of the Shaktipat and of the practice you are engaging. The cold or earth aspect and the feeling of it would be the Shakti aspect the sacred feminine as she is the earth and the growing things and is the other half of the equation that you are exploring and that is exploring you within the consciousness of the sacred marriage. It is also a matter of control and the surrender of control to forces that are other than of the known " YOU. " The ego you that doesn't want to shift control to a higher aspect of " you " . This resistance can illustrate the real qualities of the needed surrender by you to the Kundalini and what you may experience in the early stages as she begins to teach you about what it means to surrender. No worries. Be sure to do the complete safeties practice not just the Tibetans. Do the service and the forgiveness and reach into your gratitude's. Part of the experience is a continuous reminder that you need more conditioning - more of a practice of the safeties. More surrender. And to communicate what you are doing with your loved ones, if they can safely hold the information, that they may know and understand and accept any symptoms and changes that may occur because of your Kundalini experiences. -
