Tai Chi instead of 5 tibetans

I want to partake in the shaktipat, but the problem is that the spinning (the 5

tibetan move) makes me sick since I have an astigmatism. It creates a very

uncomfortable vertigo feeling. Same with the eyes up.

 

I do everything else in the safeties and I have been pretty successful. I had my

first " sweep " the other day as I posted. Tai chi seems very natural in me. It

elongates the spine etc....

 

Would that be an issue? I do everything else, but I feel I must do what is

comfortable for me.

Hello Tiffany,

With all of your activity why would you wish to take the

Shaktipat? Rest with your Kundalini as it is for a time my friend. Let the

natural process you have develop and form.

 

If you wish to do the Tai Chi Tiffany then yes do this but it is not the same as

the Tibetans and the characteristics are very different so others should not

feel that the Tai Chi is a replacement practice. It is a replacement practice

for Yoga in many ways though. Just not the Tibetnas as the Tibetans are

concerned with Kundalini expression.

 

But for you Tiffany as your expression is already under way I feel this would be

a very good move for you. There is much more to come! -

 

P.S. The Tibetans were developed for longevity of life in difficult

circumstances. They were tested on geriatrics first before being opened to the

general public. They cant be that hard if an eigty year old can do them. Just

start slow and dont be in a hurry.

I really am so new to this experience. Not even a month in. I wanted to do the

shaktipat because somewhere it was advised that it would clear the chakras. But

you're right. With what has been happening, why would I? Like I said.... I don't

even really know what I am doing. But when I used that tongue tool, it helped me

a lot!!!! Like.... W-O-W! I wonder how much I don't know. I am like a child in

this.

 

The only reason I even had the first sweep is because I let shakti in. I decided

I would put no expectations, and if it was to manifest, it would. However it

would. I surrendered. I gave it the door, and it came. No expectations. People

said a top down kundalini was not a kundalini. I said, if it is, it is. But when

it did finally sweep me, it came bottom up. When it started from the head, it

was only clearing the chakras. It was only the first symptom.

 

TO hell with textbooks. But the tongue thing? Had you not shown me that, I would

have had severe neck pain every time it swept up. And it swept up, over and

over..... and it hurt! But when I put the tongue to the top of my mouth, the

thunder started. Washing over me.

 

I don't want to portray that Tai Chi is the answer. To be honest, I only did the

stretching exercises, and it blew energy through me. I asked my higher self to

guide me and it did. A lot of the stretches are the tibetans. It just uses more

breathing.

 

I am no expert, and what I am doing seems to be working. Like everyone says, its

as natural as breathing.

 

 

But I do want to thank you for your advice. Thank you so much Chrism!

(P.S. When your body says, no meat!!! no meat!!! I have been sicker than a dog

puking today because I ate beef.... It said, okay you can have chicken... after

a completely vegan diet. I ate beef. I have been so sick that I can't even

Sometimes we must do that which is uncomfortable to train the body until it becomes comfortable, as a trained dancer I know this only too well.As for the eyes, I to have suffered astigmatism and the eyes up exercise will actually help to strengthen the muscle and reduce the astigmatism. Doing yogic eye exercise cures this disorder very easily. Come out of the comfort zone and learn to push yourself further.Much love ever joyful elektra x x x

Ok I will try that. I will look into the yogic exercises for the eyes.

 

You're right in the fact that I need to push myself further. Just now I started a spinal sweep and it only went up one chakra and dissipated and the paralyzation stopped. Something is blocked and I believe I have more to work on. When I awoke I was paralyzed in fear again. I thought there was an entity there. Those things freak me out!

 

But I had a funny dream before that. I got a message that if I put up a mirror, anything negative around me will destroy itself with its own energy. I guess a new lesson.

 

LOL I think I get a little too arrogant sometimes. Definitely something I need to work on.
