My first experience with Kundalini was 8 years ago. I had no idea what was

happening to me, but for some reason when I started to meditate, I felt the

energy starting to stir and start to flow up my spine. I quit meditating that

evening, because I was upset, I thought to myself, here I am trying to connect

and clear my mind and I started to feel all this sexual energy. Each time I

tried to meditate I felt it, till I finally cried out loud, " what is wrong with

me! Does everything have to be sexual?! " A couple years later I understood

what was happening and now I wish I wouldn't have stopped it!

Now I am finding it difficult to clear my mind when I meditate. I am hoping

that will all change.

Thank you all for the warm welcome!

Clearing the mind can be difficult when it is a planned event. I will suggest

that you merely follow your breath. Let your breath consume your mental

consciousness, the feel of it. the sound of it, the flow of it. Read the

safeties and follow the breathing exercises there. - blessings and nice to read

you Christine! - chrism
