Guest guest
Hello Kevin the Tibetans were designed for octogenarians to be able to do so I will go with the TKD kicks as for your injury. You may also wish to make some different choices in how you express yourself Kevin. Just a thought. You will now not be able to do the Tibetans for a time. This time will be determined by you however I will advise you to not do any of them. The emotional safeties and the mental safeties can still be practiced but none of the breathing. Meditation yes. Locks yes. Have look at why you are doing what you are doing. No chakra breathing either. Just meditate and forgive and practice mental stillness. Tarot is not harmful depending on how it is utilized. - blessings Kevin. - chrism , " Kevin " <buffalo-kevin wrote: > > Thank you Chrism; > > I injured myself either doing the leg lifts in the 5 Tibetans or Tornado Roundhouse kicks in TKD class. Guest guest
Ahhh. I think I see what you mean on expressing myself. Tae Kwon Do may not be the best path to follow if I want Kundalini to fully awaken and manifest in my life. I have wondered about that. Thanks; Kevin , " chrism " <> wrote: > > Hello Kevin the Tibetans were designed for octogenarians to be able to do so I will go with the TKD kicks as for your injury. Guest guest
Have you explored Aikido? - This one is more about balance and the right use of force. Tai Kwon Do (which I have also practiced in the past) is about inflicting damage in many respects. No completely as there are disciplines and other aspects of energetic and mental conditioning involved. Tai Kwon Do isnt " bad " . It is a sport and discipline prone to inflicting hurt and in this aspect it may very well get in the way of Kundalini expression certainly as you are discovering at the present!- lol!. Aikido is about redirecting energies. Very different and though yes also a very direct and contact prone martial art it isnt a predatory one. Just soime thoughts my friend and I am not trying to control or otherwise force you into specific decisions - not that I could! - lol. Merely point out some paths that may indeed cause a declination of experience from a Kundalini point of referrence. - blessings Kevin! - chrism , " Kevin " <buffalo-kevin wrote: > > Ahhh. Guest guest
Hello Chrism! No, I haven't looked into Aikido, but a good friend of mine was into Aikido, so I know a little bit about it. I plan to look more into it. In Tae Kwon Do I really do like the Forms part of it. I think this is the art part of it. I really DO NOT like the sparring part of it, and it is my least favorite thing. Even though we wear pads, it still hurts. I don't really like sparring people and possibly causing them pain, and I dont like being in pain either from them kicking me!! LOL. I havent sparred for a few months now. I got a gold medal in forms at a tournament a year ago, but I was out in the first round of sparring, and I lost 30 to 10 against an 18 year old guy. I am 46, so it was kind of a mis match, plus, like I said, it is hard for me to kick people for no reason. Thanks; and I WILL be back to doing the 5 Tibetans by Friday this week!!
