Guest guest
At a shamanic healing circle last weekend, a spirit tiger was present, lashing someone with its tail, knocking him back. Next day thinking about this and the shakti tiger, I segued into a meditation/vision. Here is excerpt from my journal, that I thought I would share. Closed my eyes and... I'm inside a rectangular cage with silver metal bars, seated at one end in lotus asana, and an angry tiger is at the other, pacing, snarling, spitting. I start to chant the peace mantra, OM Chanti Chanti Chanti... The cage bars turn into clear quartz crystal rods, the tiger becomes calm, and lies down. I continue chanting, and the tiger crawls to me, putting her head briefly on my feet where they're crossed, looking pleased and friendly, playful. Then she turns over on her back, wriggling like housecats do. Showing the belly means implicit trust. She undulates her head on the floor intimating she'd like a scratch, so I tentatively reach out to scratch her cheek, then her neck and a bit on the clavicle area, becoming more confident to continue by her purring reaction. I see the cage bars have now actually turned into streams of bubbling aerated water, like a fountain box, and I say hey look the bars are just water, we can both leave now. And together we walk out of the fountain cage through the water streams, and walk down a wide stone stairway like a Las Vegas fountain display, I look back to see the fountain is actually an ornately stacked cake like or castle structure with towers of water sprays and colored lights. We walk away from the fountain, and the tiger now wears a diamond/crystal encrusted collar. She lets me know without words that I can ride her if I want. I think, oh this is like Durga's vehicle, she rides side-saddle on her tiger. So I mount and arrange myself sidesaddle style and she tells me to hold on tight to her collar. I hear song " Ride the Tiger " by Jefferson Starship She takes off quickly, a roaring start! We zoom off flying quickly and I wonder where we're headed. We're in a black void of space, heading toward a large yellow sun, so close that I can see the swirling gases. The sun turns orangy, then as we quickly approach, a bluish white then as soon as I see it blinding white, we enter into the center of the sun in a sudden brilliant flash, and a quick jolt of tingling energy/electric shock jolts me, and I open my eyes. I `hear' that we entered the Radiant Heart of the Sun. Namasté ~Delia " As below, so above; and as above so below. With this knowledge alone you may work miracles. And since all things exist in and emanate from the ONE Who is the ultimate Cause, so all things are born after their kind from this ONE. Guest guest
Yes an excellent example of how the Shakti animals and creatures are not as they appear here on the physical plane but are interactive and friendly. They can also be terrifying depending in the energetic signature of the individual having the vision. - many blessings to you Delia! - chrism , " moonandstars1165 " <moonandstars1165 wrote:> > What an amazing vision you had! Guest guest
What a beautiful experience. Thanks for sharing Delia. I was once terrified when that large cat would visit me in the nighttime hours. My fear caused me to miss out on something really great. Now I would love to have the experience of riding on her back. It was almost like I was, as I read your words... Blessings. Guest guest
Linda, Mantra practice has resulted in conditioning to respond in a different way to various situations. Instead of fear, anger, etc. mantra has programmed access to alternative focus on peace, or prosperity, or higher consciousness; to draw those qualities inward, or extend outward to another being, if that is the intention. Mantra is like having a Swiss army knife in my back pocket, now i can automatically whip out an appropriate key for the situation. Check out Thomas Ashley-Farrand's books/cds on mantra, his instruction is quite accessible. I like the tiles on Shakti Mantras, Healing Mantras, and Mantra Meditation for starters. Though i cannot say if mantra practice is contraindicated with shaktipat here. Namasté ~Delia " As below, so above; and as above so below. With this knowledge alone you may work miracles. Guest guest
Thanks Delia, I am not all that good at trying to speak those mantra, but I do like listening to them. I don't know if just listening to them does much good, but it seems to. I have several that I listen to often. I am not so much a scaredy cat as I use to be. Those dreams and false awakenings about the large cat visits happened mostly before knowing any thing about Kundalini and even after knowing about kundalini I did not associate the dreams with that for a long time. After beginning a meditation program, I began having spontaneous OBEs and electric sensations going up my back. The electric sensation had me worried for a long time, because not long before that all began, I had gone through a lot of back problems..lots of pain. Just a sneeze, a cough, or even a good hardy laugh would leave me in tears. It was all the physical body problems that caused me to take up meditation to began with. I had no warning that meditation could cause K activation. I loved it so much I was doing at least a couple of hours everyday. Oh! uses mantras... it was he who gave to me my first mantra CD. He did not tell me to not use it during shaktipat, so I think it is OK. Guest guest
I request healing and prayers to be sent to my daughter Kjerstin. She is on our healing list and her picture is there. She waiting to make a decision for cervical back surgery. While she awaits this she is physically persuading her 80 pound Doberman up and down every stair of her 3 flight entrance. She said that she felt pressure in the area common to hernias and she went today to a doctor for lumps in her breast. The dog has cancer throughout his body and is on his literal last leg. He has to go to the bathroom frequently in the night because of pressure on his prostate. She won't give him up.. Thank you and bless you all.
