What does a normal day look like for those awakened?

Hey guys,

I've been doing some more reading, and more, and more, and am just wondering

what a typical day in the life of an awakened person looks like? I can't find

this information so far. Do we sound like Preachers? Are we the " loner " type?

Are we able to blend in successfully? How are family interactions? For

example, interactions with family members that are unaware of the Kundalini and

what's going on in me.

Most specifically I am wondering about competitiveness. Not myself, but for

instance I enjoy watching Hockey and want my favorite team to win, naturally.

Let's just fast-forward a couple of years, and assume I'm awakened, will I still

be able to watch hockey or will this cause pain?

I do feel myself changing almost daily, first major change was losing the

addiction to alcohol, spontaneously, that was about two years ago. Never saw

that one coming, but it sure was welcomed!!! The most recent change I would say

is the feeling of loss of worrying. These economic times are hitting hard, but

yet I don't really have any worry for some reason. It's more of a " let's see

what happens today " thing. So I do realize there is a chance that my long-time

interest in watching hockey *could* just fade, is that what's going to happen?

Going outside playing catch with my son, or rollerblading, or just walking. Is

all of that stuff going to disappear?

I do find myself *yearning* to go camping more. We have always tent camped in

state campgrounds, but a few years ago this changed into remote camping. We are

into " backpack camping " which is basically carrying all of your gear on your

back and just finding a site in the middle of the woods. We have located

several favorites, near streams, we filter the water to drink and cook. So, I

get so well rested and feel so rejuvenated after sleeping peacefully in the

woods. I just walk around the area admiring the trees, the ferns, the stream,

the birds, the wind and sun. It is my idea of paradise on earth. I can't get

enough of that, and feel more connected/grounded when we go backpack camping.

Sorry this is running long, but I just wanted to show some changes that are

occuring in me, and also more importantly, hopefully find out what my life may

look like in a few years. I know changes " for the better " , of course, but what

does a " typical " day look like?

Thanks and Love,

Bill

I would say just let it evolve. I remember thinking at 10 years old " feeling

sorry forolder kids who did not go out on Halloween trick or treating anymore "

could not imaginehow anyone would not want to do that-I am sure new activities

will replace the otherones and you will " enjoy " them just as much.kathy

I like that phrase... life be colored by the many flavors of love.

dear Bill

in the most simple form of what life may come to look like:

#1 Love

#2 NOT TWO

love and light

ordinary sparrow

p.s. it is great to hear of your progress and imaging you in Nature,

makes my heart so happy to see you that way dear brother, you are

beautiful and well on you way. . .your transformation, being a strong

male is such a blessing beyond your knowing and ability to imagine these

days, not often to i speak for K Ma but i feel Her wanting me to relay

this to you and remind you that you are precious and so loved by Her and

not to fear for She will guide you at every step and has you tucked

under her wing until you can fly from the One true source. . .

Bill. . .i forgot about the questions about sports and competitiveness.

.. .

where there is love there is God/dess. . . .and it may be possible that

as you continue to be transformed that your love for sports will

continue. . .i know may evolved swami's and spiritual folks that still

enjoy soccer, basketball, and football. . .don't know any hockey folks,

but i think that is because i do not live in hockey land. . .

what i think happens with the love of sports is that the person begins

to see different aspects of the game. . .i live in the Midwest and a few

years back we had Dick Vermeil as the head coach for the Chiefs, and we

had Roy Williamson as the headcoach of the Jayhawks. . .i have been

avoidant to football because of the harshness of physiciality for many

years, but became a true fan and deeply enjoyed every game. . .Both of

these coaches and their players perfected " philos " , and it was a

beautiful tender love feast of men demonstrating love for one another. .

..as far myself, i think one of the most beautiful loves is the love

between men. . .and so very often sports is one of the few places where

that love is displayed with non reservation. . .Philos is the Latin term

for brotherly love. . .it is such a beautiful love and is often seen in

many sports from kindergarten t ball to the upper reaches of

professional sports. . .so perhaps you will just start identifying with

different aspects of sports???. . .

also there is a wonderful foreign movie called; The Cup and it is movie

that was produced, written, and directed by a Tibetan monk. . .It is set

in India and the story of the young boys that loved soccer and how they

brought a T.V. to the monastery because of their love for soccer. . .the

kids play soccer at the monastery and surely if the Dalia Lama allows

sports at the monastery then K Ma will allow Her son to enjoy. . .

and the throwing the ball with your son, and taking him to sports and

bonding with him in that way. . .imho. . .Oh No, that is so based in

love. . .becoming a " lover " does not emasculate the male, it only

refines it and brings out the purity in its expression. . . and all the

way from your wife to petty the dog will be touched by the balancing of

the male/female within. . .enjoy it all. . .

Hi Bill! Glad to hear of all the positive changes happening for you. I

would think that the journey would be very different for everyone and I

also see that as part of the beauty of it. If we all ended up exactly

the same, what would be our motivation to continue? We all come with

unique karma, past lives, current issues, etc. and we all have different

gifts to offer the world. Some of us are meant to be family people,

some meant for a lone journey, some to be in the trenches, some to be

living examples to others... you get the idea. Personally, I choose to

concentrate on my own journey and inner guidance and not compare myself

to others.

Whatever you do, enjoy your journey!

Hi Bill,

I guess we're all in different stages of awakening...

though it may boil down to being awake or asleep, lol!

I know I'm still sleeping, but moving toward waking

up...it feels like morning and I want to stretch and

open my eyes.

But in the unfolding journey, like the unfolding of

a rose, different experiences seem to arise showing the

true nature of the being. That's what I'm finding anyway.

Something may look one way while just beginning towards

awakening, then the same thing takes on its own meaning

which may be quite different than what was imagined.

Gosh, I hope that makes sense.

My days have changed immensely from when I first started

in the Group. Now I let them unfold on their own. I

don't control them. Things that need to be done get

done in perfect timing, fun is more fun, nothing is

deprived...just more satisfying and full. There is an

underlying excitement to the Day, like Christmas morning...

waiting to find out what the presents are! The Day is

full of presents and surprises.

I hear you regarding camping...sigh...I LOVE camping, but

my hubby doesn't. So I let other adventures present

themselves to me. Yes, things come to us more if we're

not too full of our own planning and wants. I'm finding

a paradigm shift is happening. Jesus said, " unless you

become as a little child you won't be able to see the

kingdom of God. " Well...becoming a little child in

innocence and simplicity, trust and surrender certainly

does open doors to the unfolding experience of God.

Love, dhyana
