Guest guest
You know what, I never remember to bookmark things, I live so in the moment I tend to read and then move on, so I have no idea what website I read that information on, I do remember it said that a certain cell in the blood, a very small one, (beginning with M) stayed alive forever in the blood, even when other parts of the blood dried up and died, this cell kept living. If I ever come across it again I will bookmark it and forward your way. x x x Love elektra x x x
Guest guest
I tried googling for it, but didn't come up with much. I came across this article on embryonic stems cells, but even these cell have to be preserved to keep from contamination. They say it is possible that they might live forever if they are preserved. http://www.flacathconf.org/AdvocacyAreas/Health/StemCellResearchEthics/Arsoto906\ article.htm Linda , Elektra Fire <elektra.fire wrote: > > You know what, I never remember to bookmark things, I live so in the moment I tend to read and then move on, so I have no idea what website I read that information on, I do remember it said that a certain cell in the blood, a very small one, (beginning with M) stayed alive forever in the blood, even when other parts of the blood dried up and died, this cell kept living. > If I ever come across it again I will bookmark it and forward your way. > x x x Love elektra x x x > > > > > >

Guest guest
I think that red blood cells dont have mitochondria in them, when red blood cells are produced by the body the mitochondria is lost through the process. I'd be interested if you find this article again elektra, I love things like this, very interesting to read!
