I too struggled with this for a long time, being a Christian myself. Today I feel without a doubt that Kundalini is 'of God' and 'of Jesus'. My main 'validating' point was this - I did not seek this out, it came to me. My OBE's, my Spinal Sweep, my MANY snake dreams... All the while praying my head off. Thank God I did some research (ain't the internet wonderful :^) and found and this group from day one! Rereading the Bible now I can see and understand more thoroughly some of the parts that I did not understand before, but with some Kundalini knowledge it is making perfect sense. Also, one important thing to remember, this is happening, this is real, it is going to continue to happen and have it's way with you whether you like it or not, lol. The best thing you can do is educate yourself and surrender to it for it becomes rather painful if you resist. And please do as everyone is saying, hit 'the safeties' immediately. http://tinyurl.com/lewdyh There is everything you need right here, in this group, but some external validation may be helpful, I would highly recommend Philip St. Romain's ebook " Kundalini energy and Christian spirituality : a pathway to growth and healing " http://tinyurl.com/mx4ozu This book alone has helped me to reconcile the Kundalini and Christianity, I have no doubts anymore. Look at all of the things in the safeties, is there any qualities in there that a Christian would not strive to be? Love, Honesty, Forgiveness, Recapitulation, Trust, Gratitude... All of this contributes to a smooth awakening. Do not be scared off (as I was) by all of the Hindu references, it is simply that they have been at this for a very long time, have everything well documented, and it is only recently that the Kundalini made the leap over here in the West, from what I understand. So our best references come from those who have vast experience with it. If you are Christian, continue praying and surrendering to Jesus, you do not need to convert to Hinduism ;^) Another form of validation that has helped me is that all of this Kundalini and chakra stuff can be verified elsewhere. There is even a simple wiki page http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kundalini lol. As far as other Christians saying it is evil, they simply have no knowledge at all about it. We fear what we don't understand, so we can't blame them. So, please go do your research to become more knowledgable. Also, the way I look at it, you are on your path, they are on theirs, no two paths look the same. how can you believe that the cookie cutter approach applies to EVERYONE?! Spirituality is a highly personal thing, it is your direct connection with God. Everyone else in on the outside. Trust in yourself and your connection and pray for guidance. Best advice I can give is to do the research, scour the internet, there are vast resources in the links and files sections of this group, excellent starting point. Best of all, welcome and I'm glad to be sharing part of your journey. Love, Bil

Guest guest
I second that, Bruce. Bill explained it very clear and well. Rereading of the bible for me makes more sense now that I am more knowledgable of kundalini, too. It makes a different.
